MLB network is going to talk White Sox after the commercial we shall see what the latest rumors are

The White Sox tend to always be the favorites in doing that, however we will see how things play out I’m not going to freak out one way or another until I hear a signing is imminent

Morosi was just on fox sports radio talking Harper and Machado and mentioned there are not many Machado suitors but did link us to him numerous times in his update in regards to him. Didn’t mention anything in regards to the Sox on Harper though. Thinks Phillies land Harper and hinted at the white Sox landing Machado

It will be interesting to see how they move forward if they don’t land either of those two guys. I only mention standing still at the moment for the sake of not losing sight of the big picture. If I’m Sox management my thoughts would be I’ve been down the path of instant gratification one too many times for my liking and would like to see the younger core develop just a little bit more before dipping the toes in the free agency pool and possibly having to trade away assets for guys so we don’t deplete the farm system to where it was just a few years ago.

I would only want this payroll if we did sign a Harper or Machado. If we whiff on both of these guys there should be no rush whatsoever to speed up the rebuild process, go with what you have and move forward as planned.

To be honest both organizations do not have the best track record of bringing in Free Agents on either side of town, and I feel as if Reinsdorf has been in a few of those sales pitch before....film a video wherever you may.... Lebron and crew, Carmelo, Tracy McGrady are all NBA players that got the same type of treatment in the past with the allure of playing at the United Center and all turned us down in their own respective sport.....what makes anyone think that filming a video at the UC holds any weight or real relevance to any baseball player let alone talking about the NBA titles?

Not to be a downer and I get what you are trying to say but the Bulls championships mean absolutely nothing in this scenario

The only thing uneasy I am feeling is about the realistic chance of getting a Harper....I think that it’s awesome the Whitesox are laying everything out there on the table to get him, just highly doubt it happens and we end up with our number 4-5 choice kinda like what happened to the Bulls when they tried to go big, I know I know different sport but same ownership. Just bracing for the let down that’s all

Now this seems like more of a “Sox” move.....let’s hope he’s just a complimentary piece if they do sign him versus the “star” you bring in

I’ll believe it when I see it. We have been used one too many times for my liking in Free Agency, not going to get sucked in this offseason

idk which show to take my daughter to this upcoming week. We went to a house show w the raw crew back in September here in the Quad Cities, personally Raw is more entertaining for myself, but my little girl loves AJ Styles and The Miz. Combine that with the titles on the line on SD and the SD crew coming to the QC for a house show in 2 months im truely torn to choose which one to go to. Any recommendations or help would be greatly appreciated!

When's Cena due back? I hope it doesn't happen but i smell a Cena title run coming up here real soon.....

Doubt Ambrose title reign lasts very long. Could see WWE doing something along the lines of having him lose it even tonight on raw of all places. As much as I would like to see him or Rollins have the title, just don't see it as the thinking of WWE

I have to give the sox credit even if it doesn't work in the long run, either way it seems they are not sitting there remaining stagnant and just letting things play out how they play out.....danks gone, latos gone, bringing in shields, calling up Anderson and getting rid of rollins, at least they aren't continuing to run the same roster out there on a daily basis

heyman says they are trying to structure the cespedes deal over many years, a la scherzer deal. Talks serious
