Wow.....

I like his never ending optimism though

Nailed it

Sounds like he also said that the ownership for Philly and San Diego prefer Harper over Machado....so there is that

When Rosenthal tweets please listen......he was spot on with the Alonso move. He’s not the guy to throw shit at the wall to see if it sticks.....hopefully with his comments this comes to a close within the next few days....

He knows nothing, just trolling...

91 members here to see SS2K5 and Peavy argue it out.....twitter please help us....?

Not everyone likes mediocrity, yes it’s not life and death by no means but dedicating time and money to a consistently terrible product gets old. I enjoy going to the ball park as well just like most others l, but it would be nice to have some spark to a young team that has gone nowhere as of late and finally get headed in the right direction...

I wouldnt call what they have run out there for the past 10 years exactly entertainment....

I mean he is technically there right now until towards the end of spring training.....

This....back away from the ledge everyone....

Yoan has been practicing at 3rd all winter long like one of merkins tweets said, why not give him a shot at it in spring training in case you don’t land Machado?

Again, until he does something higher up he’s just another Sox prospect that I don’t have much hope for right now. No need to sharpie him in as the starter when we don’t have the best track record of identifying MLB level bats in the draft

I would suggest extending your vacation until he signs, don’t think it happens for a couple more weeks

If the almighty Madrigal is what everyone says he is then he will be up here before we know it. Only way to find that out is by consistently playing him right now in spring training....all this is doing is seeing where the great Madrigal could possibly fit in

It’s spring training right now, where is Madrigal going to get reps at right now to even see if he has a shot this season on a big league roster, let moncada work on 3rd as a fail safe, give Madrigal reps at 2nd for the time being and move forward..... for all I care they could have Tim Anderson behind the plate right now...

What else is the team to say at this moment? They aren’t going to say yeah Machado is our starting 3B, he isn’t under contract yet and therefore are working with what is in camp right now

Meltdown time ??? calm down about moncada at 3rd.....today was the real first day of spring training? Why not give him some reps there.....jeez people calm down

Meh, it was posted at 10 am and no one important has hinted at anything like this that I’ve seen.... but if there was one team I’d be somewhat worried about it would be the Yanks

Sooooo manny thread 2.0 then? If you can’t get your filling in the 800 page original, give this thread a shot ?

Bruce on the score still reporting 7 years this morning lol

Ahhh the good ol trying to land both tweet!!
