  1. The Witt profile is just a few posts up. Stewart isn't in either the College or High School lists. I reckon it's because he isn't draft eligible unless he ends up in Juco ball, which isn't confirmed yet?
  2. Baseball America's 2019 Draft College Top 50. Premium. Posting top 5. Willing to share other rankings/snippets as requested. https://www.baseballamerica.com/rankings/top-50-college-baseball-prospects-for-the-2019-mlb-draft/
  3. Yup. If you want an up the middle prep talent, Abrams fits the White Sox development profile much more than Witt. Abrams question is the power, not the hit tool.
  4. BA's Top 50 High School Prospects for the 2019 Draft: https://www.baseballamerica.com/rankings/top-50-high-school-baseball-prospects-for-the-2019-mlb-draft/ Premium article, but here's the top 5. Willing to answer questions/provide snips for further prospects as requested.
  5. Carlos Correa savings into Lance McCullers was a big one in 2012 for the Astros. While it might not seem like it now, Correa was a bit of a reach and a surprise for 1-1 at the time.
  6. Huh? Dude is a local who went to Homewood-Flossmoor and grew up a White Sox fan.
  7. CJ Abrams. Posted some publications notes on him in the 2019 draft thread.
  8. https://www.mlb.com/news/these-were-milbs-biggest-surprise-performers/c-296924392?tid=151437456
  9. Agreed. I'm in favor of just using the all-encompassing 2019 Draft Thread. The rest feel redundant.
  10. 11:58 2nd pick: Abrams, Jones or Witt Jr. Right now, who ya got and why? 11:59 Kiley McDaniel: Abrams, then Greg Jones then Witt, but close enough that could flip by April. Discussed this a lot in podcast #3 and there’s timestamps so you can jump right to it: https://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/fangraphs-audio-presents-the-untitled-…
  11. 11:56 WSox: With the #3 pick the Chicago White Sox select CJ Abrams. 11:56 Kiley McDaniel: Sure, I could see that
  12. Going to treat this one as the official draft thread I suppose? Via Kiley Chat today. https://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/kiley-mcdaniel-chat-10-1-18/ 11:28 Draft20/80: Who helped themselves the most on the cape this year? Vaughan? 11:28 Kiley McDaniel: That’s Cal 1B Andrew Vaughn. He was already gonna be top 20 if he skipped the summer, so he didn’t gain that much ground. Here’s our draft rankings for reference 11:28 Kiley McDaniel: UNC RF/1B Michael Busch made some ground, working into that top tier of corner bats when it wasn’t clear he was tehre 11:29 Kiley McDaniel: Vandy RF JJ Bleday, Stanford RF/1B Kyle Stowers and Creighton RF Will Robertson all showed better than was expected and made some money on the Cape
  13. Rofl. This thread is great. Never change game threads. Never change.
  14. These new bullpen arms. Don't sleep yall.
  15. I'm pretty optimistic on the relief core going forward. Burr, Hamilton, Fry and Frare are all worth keeping an eye on as we go forward.
  16. DirtySox replied to BamaDoc's topic in FutureSox Board
    Rutherford HR.
  17. Aw. No Hype for what could be a very special high leverage relief prospect? The White Sox bullpen could be a nightmare for opponents in the near future. Fry, Hamilton, and Burdi will be nasty to go through. Not to mention prospects like Tyler Johnson, Frare, Burr, and Ruiz.
  18. So when does he start closing?
  19. As most people assumed.
