Hmm, I guess they could be. Upton is young and cheap for the next couple years, but Crawford is coming off of a career year.

So why would he put him in RF when an obviously superior defensive set up is Rios in CF, Kotsay in RF, and Pods at DH? That should have nothing to do with Ozzie being angry at him.

He would really solidify our defense and he has the potential to be a great player. Do you think we have enough to get him?

That's not that bad. I see WAY worse proposals on other forums. Hell, just today i saw one guy put up the idea of Konerko for Berkman. Then i saw somebody put up the idea of konerko, getz, and fields for Josh Hamilton. I'm glad that isn't the case here (even though it is hilarious to see peoples reactions to those trade ideas).
