  1. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 22, 2012 -> 05:08 PM) I love Hawk and hope he realizes his dream and announces White Sox games until he dies. I love the catch phrases, I love he wants the White Sox to win as much as I do and even more during spring training. Every poster has been influenced as to how they watch the game by the Hawkeroo. I could do without his umpire bashing. I could do without the Jerry Manuel bashing that is still occurring, but for my money, I don't know how you would want to replace a guy that understands the game as much or more than anyone else you would bring in, and who would be more happy if the Sox won or as upset if they lose. ^^^^ THIS
  2. Got him on that high fastball Stoney was calling for!
  3. Nice at-bat for Alejandro there. Some good two-strike hitting off the leftie.
  4. I think if you stitched together Dunn's home run today and the one from yesterday, you'd get a mile in distance. Just two absolute bombs!
  5. 8 1/2 innings of dominance is my take-away from all of this. Let's sweep this thing tomorrow!
  6. I think it may be safe to say that Adam Dunn is "ALL IN" this season!
  7. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 19, 2012 -> 06:45 PM) Thom Brennamen is unimpressed with Alexei's career. This coming from the poster child for nepotism. Fascinating.
  8. For what will seem like the umpteenth time this evening, Cabrera and Fielder will be up to bat this inning. Let's get them out and then get this thing over with - in our favor, of course!
  9. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 14, 2012 -> 07:36 PM) This is just getting difficult to watch...why do I look forward to these games? WHY DO I BOTHER? (cueing the baseball gods to show me exactly why) Could it be that you simply just "Appreciate the Game"?
  10. I don't know how this season is going to turn out, but clearly, it'll be worth it to tune in everyday just to watch this Konerko fella play. He really is some kind of player!
  11. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 24, 2012 -> 10:10 PM) Why the hell is Gavin still pitching??? Particularly since we have a rather well-rested bullpen after the outings of the past few days.
  12. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 24, 2012 -> 10:02 PM) Who cares? If he wants to retweet, let him. Can the Sox scratch out a run? This game has a walkoff loss feel to it. What? No Sox late inning rally to win it? A walkoff loss? Who's side are you on?
  13. QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Apr 24, 2012 -> 09:49 PM) Meh, he's been throwing first pitch strike all night and Rios didn't miss that by a whole lot. This is one of those soft-tossing lefties that I don't think has been making us look stupid as they often do, I think he's just throwing exceptionally well. He really is. Give credit where credit is due. Let's hope we can somehow break through and find a way to win this one!
  14. This Milone's control and ability to grab that first pitch strike bodes well for a successful career in this league. He's been pretty impressive.
  15. BIG TIME congratulations to Mr. Humber on his extraordinary achievement! Appreciate the PERFECT game!
  16. I can't help but wonder if all of that muscle he put on a couple of years ago has somehow become part of the problem, whether contributing to the longer swing and/or possibly slowing his ability to get the bat through the zone quickly enough to catch up to all of those fastballs that are routinely blown by him these days.
  17. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 16, 2012 -> 08:33 PM) The Walker hate is hilarious. Beckham has nothing to do with Walker. Yup.
  18. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 16, 2012 -> 08:29 PM) I'm pretty cool with deciding to send him down at this rate. For his own good, at this point.
  19. Four at-bats for Dunn today, four full counts, a bunch of foul balls and pitches seen, but no results. Just four K's.
