  1. Nice try, but just five measly trips to the postseason in 38 years for this loser of an owner our fan base continues to be saddled with (including the ten year playoff drought we are currently suffering through, which is MLB’s 4th longest such drought) is an entirely different discussion than the return received on the Sale trade. Btw, why are you always so afraid to discuss the current owner’s record, both on and off the field?
  2. “Who the hell cares?” on the return of a trade involving Chris Sale? Answer - every single, serious White Sox fan, that’s who! And the owner and front office. Didn’t think that needed to be spelled out, but apparently it does.
  3. No one is living in the past. We are talking about the return you get when you trade a top 5 starter in all of baseball, at the age Chris Sale was at and the very team-friendly contract he was under, especially if the return is all prospects. At the very least, you need one premium talent in return who will turn into a star. At least one. or else your team failed in it's scouting and evaluation of the other team's farm system.
  4. As the headliner in the trade for Chris Sale, they most certainly do.
  5. Somethin’ a brewin’ here in the 8th!
  6. Hawk talking about Yaz >>>>>>>>> Benetti talking about waffle cones with Rice Krispies on them
  7. In 64 fewer at-bats, Leury has the same number of hits as Engel, two more homers, four more RBIs, and just one less stolen base. He has a much better arm, and the difference in their range in center field is minimal, especially when you compare the other facets of their respective games. Time to make the change! #startLeuryoverEngel
  8. And in games where the Sox are down 11-2, you have Benetti asking the 71 year-old Stone how his prom was. Excruciating!
  9. He really is, quite the talent. Which is why it’s so odd to see the commissioner shaming him publicly these days the way he is.
  10. Jason, please. Just stop already.
  11. Ohtani is the real deal. Very scary up at the plate.
  12. My “One Thing With Ricky” would be to begin starting Leury in center every single night over Engel, effective immediately.
  13. 50 pitches, 7 Ks, 2 runs through 3
  14. The infield camera work leaves a lot to be desired in this series.
  15. 6 Ks, 2 HRs through 2
  16. For a second I thought Leury was timing another bring-it-back-in-the-park catch again.
  17. The first two games of the first two series after the ASB have been downright enjoyable to watch.
  18. How very astute.
  19. That missed called third strike which was right down the middle is infuriating at the moment. Can you imagine if Hawk was in the booth for that one!
  20. Can they please just start Leury in centerfield for the foreseeable future and be done with the Engel experiment? Enough already.
  21. 1000% agree with this. Time for this team to start winning, fueled of course by the new, young core.
  22. Carson to lock things down in the 8th inning; Burdi to slam the door shut in the 9th.
  23. Leury - CF Eloy - LF Avisail - RF
  24. +1. He’s become a fun player to watch, and he’s certainly come a long way.
