I think most of the flaws of the original design of “New Comiskey Park” were corrected with the renovations made in the early-to-mid 2000s. The upper deck still isn’t great, given the steep pitch and the entrance being at the base of the deck rather than somewhere in the middle. Outside of that, though, and somehow magically picking the park up and turning it around to face the city skyline, not sure what’s left to do outside of the typical updates each year.

Yes, let’s. He’s not Adam Dunn or Chris Davis in the middle of their careers. They can still get him plenty of developmental at-bats during the remainder of this season while protecting him from setting this dubious record.

The team should do whatever they can to protect this kid from this happening.

What Getz said was consistent with what Hahn said during the off-season when asked the timetable of when players would be called up this season - “the players have a way of dictating that timetable”. So if they call Eloy and/or Kopech in the next week or so, it would be consistent with that sentiment, given both players’ production to date at AAA.

And then return him to the bottom of the lineup for the remainder of the season. No pressure up top, just let him continue to get reps but batting 8th or 9th.
