  1. No free agents have signed yet. Good analysis.
  2. They can also use it towards a second baseman or a right fielder because if they plug in Kopech in the rotation and they don’t trade Keuchel, you have Giolito, Lynn, Cease, Kopech and Keuchel as the starting five.
  3. The deadline has passed...End of the Rodon era it appears. Unless a long term contract is worked out.
  4. 30 minutes to the deadline and no news yet.
  5. I think they should still extend the QO but I don’t think he’s worth a long term contract right now with having only one good season and an injury but yes they should by all means offer the QO. Let him prove that he can have back to back good seasons and stay healthy throughout a whole season.
  6. Rodon will probably reject the QO if offered and if I were the Sox I wouldn’t try signing him to a long term deal. Boras will try to squeeze as much money from teams as possible and he’s not even worth that right now with only having one good season and having shoulder issues. I bet they trade Kimbrel to the Phillies or the Rays.
  7. I got this from MLBTR. I don’t think I agree with this. They will be spending money, just a matter of how much. Concerned Sox Fan 9:26 Not sure why I keep hearing White Sox might not be able to compete money-wise for top FAs. This is your window to win and getting blasted by the Astros should not be acceptable Mark P 9:28 In a vacuum, yes. But the White Sox have never been huge spenders, especially not for a team in a big market. And, is Jerry Reinsdorf really going to green-light more spending in a year when labor talks are such an issue?
  8. It’s that time of the year now.
  9. I don’t see anything in the article that mentions the Nationals or the Phillies. Where are you seeing this?
  10. The 40 man roster is down to 33. They are definitely adding players through free agency or trades.
  11. If anyone thinks they will not be spending any money this offseason, your kidding yourself. If they weren’t, they would’ve picked up Cesar’s option. Lol.
  12. I would be still open to it as well but this means that they are moving in a different direction.
  13. This article predicts that Conforto will accept the qualifying offer this year since he had a bad year and may be better off heading into free agency in 2023. Makes sense.
  14. It sounds like TLR is calling the shots now.
  15. This is not the way correct? ?
  16. No he never did. Very strange if you ask me.
  17. Wake tf up Hahn!!! Just joking by the way. Lol
  18. We need more lefties not righties.
  19. Maybe we should ask this question, did Hahn or anyone in the organization ever promise that we would win the World Series in 2021?
  20. They are going to spend money this offseason to improve the ball club. It’s just a matter of how much.
  21. Thank you and like I said in my post above people should just relax, it’s only November 1st for goodness sakes. Lol
  22. The issue here is the perception that JR and the FO will not spend anything to improve the club because of what they have done in the past. However, if you really think about it or dissect the issue, you may reframe that perception. Relax people, it’s only November 1st. We haven’t even made it to the offseason yet. Lmao.
