I dont really hate this deal, but what would make me hate it is if Toronto packages E-Jax over for Rasmus

I never even heard of White Sox scouting the Jays farm hopefully the Sox did some homework and nab a good prospect in the deal

I would hope for Travis D'arnuad to be the prospect

some tweeters are questing whether its Teahen for Frasor + prospect which noway in hell do I see the Jays accept a trade for.

Over on the Jays board, they speak of 1B David Cooper who wasn't in the lineup last night and was filled in by Adam Loewen who is Las Vegas' regular RF. David Cooper is a pretty decent prospect by looking at his #s in AAA.

I am now starting to really fear this deal is pretty much in the books. The guy already has reported 2 trades b4 they were formally announce so I am going with k0na said. I am just hoping its a good prospect which Toronto has plenty of or else I am sure not only me but this whole board and entire fanbase would be after KW head.

read over on the Blue Jays forum that if the deal is true that they would like to see Edwin + Eric Thames or Edwin + reliever flipped over for Rasmus, that would be really dumb to see KW just give Edwin to see him dealt immediately for the guy he wanted. Blue Jays have been noted to have interested in Rasmus as well.

This trade is BS... just don't see why Toronto would trade for Jackson and Teahen. Jackson is FA and no way Toronto is going to sign him to the money he will demand thru Boras. Teahen doesn't make much sense for them either since they project Brett Lawrie to be the 3B of the future starting as soon as September. Blue Jays are a team that are going to spend their money cautiously to compete with the AL east money spending powerhouses not waste it on Jackson and Teahen

Hopefully they can atleast win tmr and not f*** up against Sherzer. Sherzer hasn't been that great this yr, but he has owned the Sox if they atleast try the way they did today against Verlander then we can win tmr
