  3. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 5, 2017 -> 12:45 AM) http://www.fangraphs.com/depthcharts.aspx?position=Standings White Sox are now projected to finish 70-92 and get the 3rd pick. 4-5 games behind Phillies and Padres. Battle for 3rd with Braves/Reds/Royals. lets lose 99 games
  4. QUOTE (SCCWS @ May 31, 2017 -> 11:38 AM) Agree that the position player inventory is low. But every rebuilding team must supplement their roster with free agents as well. Maybe the trading of guys like Jones, Robertson, Abreu etc will add more young talent to fill the void if Q can't be moved for enough talent. I don't think Abreu will ever be traded you will ruin the Cuban connection and breaking promises.
  5. QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ May 28, 2017 -> 04:09 PM) I'll be sitting in the 150 section, in my Sale jersey, pulling my hair out. I be in 159 with my sale jersey

  11. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Feb 8, 2017 -> 05:33 AM) Based on his tweets, its looks like he has a source with the cubs. Like he said Quintana close to astros lol
  12. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jan 23, 2017 -> 09:31 AM) They don't have the prospects to acquire Quintana if they wanted him. well astros are out and looks like pirates too.
  13. QUOTE (3GamesToLove @ Jan 19, 2017 -> 11:45 AM) No, and he shouldn't. He'll probably fall off the ballot after one year. No way
  14. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Jan 19, 2017 -> 11:40 AM) I don't think he belongs, but there are worse guys than him in the HOF so I wouldn't be upset or anything if he did get in. If there worse guys then him he should be in then.
  15. Where Paul Konerko get in the HOF in 2020?
  16. QUOTE (Al Lopez's Ghost @ Jan 18, 2017 -> 10:11 AM) Jose Quintana's NEXT contract is not even close to being on the White Sox worry list, or on the worry list of most of the fans. It's not gonna be our concern. You Wouldn't sign Jose Q in 4 years from now I would.
  17. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 18, 2017 -> 09:58 AM) If that was what he demanded from his next deal, you give it to him in a heartbeat. Luckily we don't have to worry about that until next decade. Sox never gave a player 100 million so it won't happen.
  18. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jan 18, 2017 -> 09:05 AM) No, because he is currently in the midst of a lengthy contract. I think when he gets to free agency, he'll have his agent ask for a very large sum of money. Ya the White Sox won't pay that.
  19. Sorry guys If I posted this to early.
  20. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jan 18, 2017 -> 08:05 AM) Well this is silly. The White Sox guaranteed Chris Sale, Adam Eaton, and Jose Quintana financial security for the rest of their lives, barring super extravagant spending habits, and job satisfaction has much less to do with the amount of money you make and more with how happy you are in your current position. If the White Sox breed an atmosphere in which players will be happy and comfortable, players will be happy playing for them. Also, a lot of these players don't really have a choice where they play anyways, especially for the first 6 years. Don't you see Jose Quintana demanding $150 million from the white sox.
