  1. I wonder cashman trying lower the deal with adding robertson in the deal im thinking.
  2. QUOTE (Special K @ Dec 23, 2016 -> 08:59 AM) I missed it. What did WSD speculate? this what he said on twitter Potentially yyyyuuuuugggeeeee day, getcha ready
  3. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Dec 23, 2016 -> 01:52 AM) I'll agree as far as a trade. Rick is good at this hour with FA signings, not trades. The robertson signing was 12am and I don't believe trade be done til after Christmas.
  4. QUOTE (Con te Giolito @ Dec 23, 2016 -> 01:38 AM) NEVER SLEEP ON THE HOT STOVE This is the value of being a limo driver I guess. Lots of down time. I doubt any trade will go down its 2am rick hahn is sleeping.
  5. QUOTE (Dam8610 @ Nov 17, 2016 -> 11:57 PM) If Boston: Moncada, Benintendi, Devers, Kopech, Groome If Atlanta: Swanson, Inciarte, Albies, Newcomb, Blair If Yankees: Sanchez, Frazier, Torres, Andujar, Sheffield, Tate If Washington: Giolito, Turner, Robles, Lopez, Cole, Fedde If Dodgers (w/Puig): Urias, Puig, Bellinger, DeLeon, Alvarez If Dodgers (w/o Puig): Urias, Bellinger, DeLeon, Alvarez, Calhoun, Lux I know, "not realistic", but this is the type of return the White Sox need for Sale. I intentionally did not include Houston because my hope is they'll build a package around Bregman for Q. If all of these posts were on the table, I'd have a tough time choosing between BOS and NYY. Those deals are to much for each team they won't do them deals.
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 17, 2016 -> 02:54 PM) With Chris Sale on the block, you are getting both quality AND quantity. The braves are not that serious about sale.
  7. QUOTE (Baron @ Nov 17, 2016 -> 02:46 PM) They dont think he's worth Swanson....cool They can have there old pitchers then lol.
  8. QUOTE (Baron @ Nov 17, 2016 -> 02:43 PM) Read the comments to that tweet. It's hilarious. Braves fans don't think sale worth that much lol.
  9. Chris sale will be with the white sox in 2017.
  10. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 17, 2016 -> 02:07 PM) could you try and participate in the thread topic, and do less one note grammar-free comments? thx I voted already
  11. QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 17, 2016 -> 02:02 PM) Here's the choice you have to make: If you could even get them to trade Trea Turner - you are not getting more than that. Maybe some INTL prospects or A filler, but you are not getting more than that. So the question is whether you break out to the higher risk, high quality prospects below them to get a larger breadth trade to create that depth of talent we lack. We get more or no deal bottom line
  12. QUOTE (GREEDY @ Nov 17, 2016 -> 02:00 PM) Sale, Frazier and Shields to the Dodgers in exchange for: Cody Bellinger, Willie Calhoun, Alex Verdugo, Micah Johnson, Brendon Davis, Jacob Scavuzzo. No way that nasty with shields in it i want seager
  13. QUOTE (SCCWS @ Nov 17, 2016 -> 01:39 PM) Probably no deal. Then no sale
  14. QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 17, 2016 -> 01:30 PM) This is why I think having braves in the mix is great for sox. Overall, I think it is less likely to work with just a bidding war between LAD and BOS, I think those teams are more likely to say "meh we can wait and see what else comes up". The cubs really put a wrinkle in this by keeping baez, russel, et all instead of trading for areas of need. All are going to consider that now. But a team like braves that needs to make a big play for fans will keep them honest. Braves won't give up Swanson and ender incarte.
  15. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Nov 17, 2016 -> 01:27 PM) I think Sale will go to Boston and I think Q will go to the Dodgers. I see Q to the Dodgers because they will find a way to get him without giving up Urias (still a strong package) and they are the type of front office who will truly appreciate how good of a pitcher Q is. Sale will go to the Red Sox because when push comes to shove, Dombrowski has the chips and wants to win and knows that Sale will help him do that in the near-term (and he isn't afraid to best other teams offers, when all is set and done). If we don't get moncada and andrew bentrilln no deal.
  16. QUOTE (flavum @ Nov 17, 2016 -> 01:19 PM) Seager isn't getting traded. Trea Turner isn't either. No sale for them same if Yankees don't trade gary sanchez
  17. QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Nov 17, 2016 -> 01:13 PM) Sox had better get a real good haul for Sale or you just don't trade him. I'm thinking Sale and Frazier to the Dodgers for Seager, De Leon and Puig. Seager and De Leon are good young pieces to build on and from the Dodgers standpoint: Sale and Kershaw, are you kidding? They'd maybe be able to beat the Cubs next year, they'd have to be tempted even giving up Seager. I really doubt it the dodgers give up seager for sale.
  18. QUOTE (miracleon35th @ Nov 17, 2016 -> 01:16 PM) It is my own opinion that one young star position player in exchange for Chris Sale would be more valuable than several top prospects. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. I would ask the Washington Nationals if they would trade Trea Turner and a pitching prospect for Sale. That is a trade that would change the team immediately as well as for several years to come. Turner Robles golitoa and others for sale
  19. Maybe none of these teams won't overpay for chris sale.
  20. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Nov 12, 2016 -> 06:35 AM) They're gouging those dedicated companies and individuals that make up 80% of their attendance. That they're not charging more (or increasing rates) for 27 would cause many diehard fans to seriously reconsider how important loyalty to a team really is...and feeling the atmosphere there compared to Wrigley now...feels like Clinton HQ around 11 p.m. Tuesday night. Making the Southside/Chicago G-Rate Again, apparently? I got a decrease on my 27 game plan.
  21. I think the increase is only scout seats
  22. QUOTE (palehose1 @ Nov 11, 2016 -> 03:47 PM) I don't post very often but follow this site daily. I have been a season ticket holder since 1991 (I share my 4 full season diamond boxes with 5 other guys). I received my season ticket renewal package last night and the cover letter made no mention of a price increase but I just compared to last years invoice and the tickets went up 7%! This is the largest increase I remember in 25 years. Isnt that strange timing giving the lack of general interest in the team and the potential for a rebuild? We will renew because we have excellent seats by the vistors on deck circle and hey the Sox are a huge part of my life but Im feeling a bit taken advantage of... Did other areas see a large increase or are they just slamming the premium boxes? My season tickets 27 game plan was lower they going rebuild.
  23. QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Nov 2, 2016 -> 09:27 PM) Thanks guys for keeping me sane during all this. Us Sox fans need to stick together if the cubs win tonight. Im sure sox fans will turn into cubs fan after they win tonight.
  24. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 28, 2016 -> 11:15 PM) Just looked it up. It's 4. 4 kershaw Hill kluber tomlin
