  1. Just some bad luck there. They made contact just to defenders.
  2. QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 21, 2014 -> 07:02 PM) Victor Martinez is such a great hitter. I am not sure how he got his hands in on that pitch by Danks.
  3. Danks better cut down on his swing tonight in the lead off spot. He has to get on base.
  4. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 15, 2014 -> 07:16 PM) That's not what he's looking for. Closest poker room to downtown Chicago is Horseshoe Hammond, which is an excellent room. Harrah's Joliet, Hollywood Joliet, Hollywood Aurora and Grand Victoria Elgin all also have poker rooms. Pretty much all of them should have 1-2 NL Hold'em and 3-6 Limit Hold'em cash games going at any time. Most will also have NL Hold'em tournaments 3-5 days a week. EDIT: Horseshoe Hammond and Harrah's Joliet use the Bravo online system, where you can see exactly what games are running and how long the wait lists are: http://www.bravopokerlive.com/site/scasino Thanks brother. I was suppose to go last Tuesday but I bailed, glad I did. Next time I'll tell those clowns to go to the Horseshoe. I've been there a couple of times to their poker room, it's really fun.
  5. Travis Snider got sucker punched. Man that looked brutal.
  6. De Aza I expect that buffoonery from. Ramirez, not so much.
  7. There will be games like this people, just relax.
  8. QUOTE (Marty34 @ Apr 18, 2014 -> 08:38 PM) Not writing him off, but . . . don't think he'll be the "monster" some thought. Hyperbole much? Let the guy adjust and actually see these pitchers more than once before you freaking right them off.
  9. I have an interview today with a company that operates in the same building I work in now. Trying to sneak my way without being seen is hard. I was allegedly scheduled for 12:30pm. I sneak my way out of the building without being seen and apparently I'm suppose to be interviewing at 1:00pm. The lunch crowd will be back so it'll be even harder to not be seen now. It doesn't help that I'm dressed up today in at a research institute. I think people know what's up but I'm sticking to I'm having dinner tonight.
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 17, 2014 -> 10:11 PM) Boston pitched our hitters incredibly well. Their scouting was exceptional. Yeah it's not real difficult to get Viciedo out though so I don't know if that's something to pat them on the back for.
  11. Viciedo had two opportunities to knock in big runs. The opportunities were there, just no execution. You're going to have to score more than one run to win a game.
  12. Well in hindsight, the run was going to score so Downs hypothetically did his job.
  13. Beli obviously walked him on purpose because he knew the DP was coming
  14. Damn a pinch run scores a run there. Danks was available and Dunn is DHing.
  15. Marcus has to learn that the umpires can easily miss those close calls. Gotta protect there.
  16. He seems timid or hell bent on working the count. He has got a lot of hittable pitches that he just watches go by. He has to unload on them.
  17. I thought Cleto got squeezed a bit in the 9th. I see why the Ump gave him no call though since he was wild.
  18. Why couldn't the Red Sox hitters tee off on Leury. I mean they knew were the ball was coming haha.
  19. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 16, 2014 -> 12:30 PM) I think they can "hang" with KC right now, but I also don't think KC is going to be all that good in the long run this year. Pitching clearly is the problem so far, but I think we're going to find "another starter" within the rotation, because I doubt both Paulino and Johnson will keep struggling as badly. Johnson bounce backed pretty well albeit in the cold and against a injured Red Sox team.
