So I had interview about 3 weeks ago. I haven't heard any feedback regarding my interview or the position. I am going through a recruitment agency as a third party. The guy apparently went on vacation and just got back this week. My recruiter/agent has emailed him for feedback. Should I just assume the worse here? I feel like they would have made an offer by now if they wanted me.

He just needs to attack the hitters. Easier said than done I'm sure.
-
They should have just called up someone to pitch.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 30, 2014 -> 07:59 AM) I just saw a vine of it, the story says that the other woman called Boozer a loser and then threw a beer at Boozers GF after they exchanged words. Boozers GF definitely delivered a few shots Booze is a loser. The f***er didn't improve any in his time here. He is a perennial loser. Good riddance.

Ventura made Viciedo dog it on that fly ball? Who would've known.
-
Yep this states that Sterling is pretty much done for.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 02:11 PM) Because people never say awful things to their friends/family while in the privacy of their own home? I mean I get it, he's a racist and he's got a past so they had to do something, but Cuban's argument about the slippery slope makes sense. What if you're an outspoken guy (like Cuban) who is in the public eye (like Cuban) and you do things that piss off other owners (like Cuban) and you get drunk and say something stupid, let's say directed towards a woman, would this set a precedent that the NBA could ban him and take away his team? Could owners conspire together and fake outrage over some comment and try to force the commissioner to get rid of someone? You have to believe that the people who running the NBA are smarter than to oust someone based on a slip of the tongue. Sterling had the history and I'm sure he would have eaten into the NBA's bottom line when people boycotted his games.

I think it's hilarious that people are bringing up freedom speech and that this country is dead on the yahoo forums. Do these idiots know that the NBA is not the government nor can the government rule on what is clearly an internal affair?

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 11:26 AM) The guy is a scumbag POS, but you can't take his property from him (which sounds awful in context, but I am obviously talking about the Clippers franchise). This so hard. I understand people are upset but the man is entitled to his own thoughts. I think the free market might take over here and he'll probably move the team to Seattle.

Keep that streak going... Yesssshhhh

QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 10:56 AM) I wouldn't go as far as Leesman. He's simply not ML material. It was just ridiculous after the first bad inning everyone was saying "f*** Rienzo" and then in the 6th he's better than Erik Johnson. It's silly. This game is cyclical and small sample sizes are nothing to get worked up about. Rienzo is what he is. He's got pretty decent stuff but he's not the smartest pitcher. That being said, he's a competitor and he can get through, or perhaps gets past, tough innings. He's a fringe #5 type and could be a factor in the bullpen. Right now, with injuries, he's a decent option to have. He really needs to start getting more first pitch strikes though. I don't know if it was just when I was watching or what but he had fallen behind off the bat way too much. Hawk and Stone were right that he was wrong to abandon his curveball in the early going. Isn't his curve one of his better pitches? It just baffles me how the White Sox pitchers fall behind that much.

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 08:30 AM) Oh using the word makes me stupid? I understand. I'll check with you next time I type something. I think he was referring to your misogynistic overtone in the post.

Maddon praises hell out of Abreu/"new" Sox line-up

QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Apr 29, 2014 -> 06:45 AM) Avila said he kinda figured out how to get Abreu out in the series in Detroit. After the first game he had one hit in nine at bats with six strikeouts, interesting to see how he does. Although its never easy facing guys like Verlander and scherzer Jose will adjust and start crushing those fools. (Meathead soxfan) -
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 28, 2014 -> 04:11 PM) Or he's trying to take the pressure off of Semien by putting him 9th? From what I've seen this year, Beckham's probably the better bet to hit behind the runner if needed than Semien is anyways. Nothing to lose with this move. Based on what?

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 28, 2014 -> 12:47 PM) That is the real bad part. People really shouldn't be surprised by this and he should have been kicked out a long time ago. This is on David Stern. He refused to take a stand against the POS that was Sterling. He's been the worst owner in professional sports for a long time and he's also a turd of a human being and calling him a turd is being nice. FTFY

Sterling is done for. He is a racist and will go down in flames for this.

I'm pretty green when it comes to pitchers but what separates top of the rotation guys from back of the rotation guys? Is it subjective?

QUOTE (Middle Buffalo @ Apr 28, 2014 -> 11:34 AM) Heinrich had 4 of their 16 turnovers. He was terrible, but only had one more turnover than Noah and Taj had. Did you see the amount bricks that clown shot up. Yeah, if you're going to give up the rock for points you better get them back.
-
Well the Bulls played like crap and Hinrich was an uber turnover machine. Taj was beasting. I love that guy. I think the Bulls win the next game and then drop the 4th contest in Washington.

Just got home, how is Carroll? Potential or just lucky?

Tflo is trying to work the count but he watches some very hittable pitches go by. If he starts crushing them, he'll wall EVEN more. -

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 25, 2014 -> 11:19 PM) That pitch was a meatball. Paulie with the fire may have got Balfour too wound up. I'm curious as to what Balfour said.
