Oakland have really been swinging the bats well lately, and that's mainly due to 2 guys, Dan Johnson and Bobby Crosby. They've made the A's lineup deeper, and taken off the pressure on the likes of Chavez who have responded in part.

Can I just at how cheap cars are over here. Oh ya, here's one of the cars we're driving in around here; EDIT: Tryin to make it smaller. Here we go;

If Jeff Franics didn't pitch for Colorado, he'd be a top starter for almost any team. And yet, he's pretty much Colorado's best starter as it is.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Yes the Tiggies lineup looks good on paper. But when you strike out a lot as hitters and don't draw any walks, you ain't going to score many runs unless you can hit for a lot of power, which is almost impossible at Comerica.

Why would Oakland want Joe Crede AND Alex Cintron when they already have Bobby Crosby, Marcus Scutaro, Mark Ellis and Keith Ginter already?

I hate this theory of how people think if you can't strike people out as a pitcher you won't be successful. Sure it helps, but it's not the end all to be all. Randy Johnson and Johan Santana have crazy K numbers, but are they pitching at their best this season? Absolutely freaking not.

Not good to see Whisler still ain't improving much. He's been one of my disappointments for this minor league system, after the way he pitched late last season. Leo Daigle with 3 K's in 4 AB's. Gulp. Even Borch had a BB and no K's tonight.

Monroe knows he'll be on the bench in the future most likely when Maggs comes back, so he's trying to keep himself in the news.

It wasn't a family vacation, but in year 8, we went on a 4 to 5 day field trip out to another state looking at German History. E.g going to some old women's house, going to some German Village and eating bratwurst etc.

What is with the servings of food here? Yeesh. I'd gain more than 20 pounds in a couple of months over here. Love the Steaks and buying in bulk though. 6 packets of Pringles for $4!!??? They cost $3 per packet down under.
