  1. They actually have one 5 and two 7's, not two 5's and one 7. Montgomery is kind of a bruiser. I'd rather find a speedy, back up RB.
  2. The Vikings were good. The Chargers were not. I think they need a veteran swing tackle and a good OG in free agency. In the draft they should use 2 of their first 4-5 picks on OL. I would love to see them add some speed on offense. Oh, and TE is obviously a need. Robinson should be extended. A rush linebacker is necessary- Lynch sucks, so does Irving and Floyd is a Jamie Collins type, not a true EDGE- and a good DE would be nice as we saw how average they looked without Hicks. The #2 CB spot is a storyline because Amukamara will be cut and Toliver is a question mark. Gabriel, Long and Amukamara will all be cut.
  3. They beat the Chiefs, Seahawks and Vikings 3 times. I wouldn't say they didn't have impressive wins
  4. Oh, the Green Bay game? They literally told everyone postgame their gameplan was to make him throw the ball. Remember? "We wanted to make him play quarterback." They took any run game out of the question for the Bears. Fast forward to the LAC game where despite a great run game, the idiot still turned the ball over in the 4th quarter in horrific fashion. But yeah, that was all on the coach.
  5. No one said he got less talented. We said he got worse as a football player. Teams took away his best attribute. They disguised more coverages. Opposing teams made fun of him. The coach said he needs to master elementary shit. He's completely lost it mentally. When that goes, it all goes. What favors should Nagy do him? Teams are stacking the box and spying him as a runner. Tons of All 22 footage came out during the year displaying multiple receivers open and he either didn't see them or missed the throw. Want Nagy to go out there and throw passes, too?
  6. That's the only reason? Like, he just couldn't have regressed because he got worse on his own? You know how stupid that sounds, right?
  7. He really didn't. He had 2 great games and the rest were anywhere from good enough to bad
  8. The D is still too good. Only hope would be Mack, Hicks, Smith, Jackson, and Robinson are out for extended periods of time. Maybe 5-11 gets them into the top 10 and the (hopefully new) regime pulls a Philly move and goes up for either guy.
  9. Exactly. When the HC is saying "Mitch needs to master identifying coverages" after his THIRD year, you know the guy is totally lost. It's too bad; I wanted him to be great (you know this better than anyone @Moan4Yoan) but it didn't happen. Nagy will end up getting canned if he regresses even more & they win <6 games, but if that means Trubisky gets launched and they get Lawrence or Fields, so be it
  10. So it's Nagy's fault that Trubisky went to shit? Really? Trubisky admitted after a terrible week 1 that he wasn't right mentally. Maybe Nagy wasn't calling for runs because 1) his OL sucks and 2) the opposing DC's were loading the box because the QB was literally no threat at all. Look, I worded my post the way I did on purpose. Good *head coach* with *decent* gameplans. I didn't say spectacular. But Andy Reid did just fine this year with a bottom third running game. I wonder why
  11. Houston should fire their bad coach and hire Rob Saleh yesterday
  12. I disagree. I think he's a good head coach with a decent gameplan. All of that looks better with not the 32nd best QB 100% agree
  13. I got tickets for OD. Section 140.
  14. Why is this reason for a thread? It's being discussed at length in the scandal thread and it's not exactly breaking news. Brosious' kid said it like 2-3 days ago.
  15. Aaron Rowand probably used roids and I don't care one bit
  16. I don't think stealing signs is all that bad. I played in college and if the signs were so obvious that I can use them, fine. I think stealing signs is almost expected, which is why pitchers and catchers have different series of signs when a baserunner is at 2nd.
  17. They're all back if they finish 7-9. If you want them all gone, you best hope for 4-12. McCaskey loves these guys; it's going to take an absolute meltdown.
  18. LUCAS27 code allows you to buy them tomorrow at 1 pm CT Hope this helps @Harry Chappas
  19. I'll be the first to say it- if the Sox fire Renteria, I hope they hire Hinch
  20. If we're going by the regular season- which is what's looked at for the MVP- Tannehill was the difference maker for Tennessee, not Henry.
  21. But I think he meant, in English: The new motto for the Sox is "change the game" but if it were up to me, it would be "the kids can play" because the former is too much to think about, but then again I'm typically out of the loop on marketing ideas maybe?
