QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 16, 2017 -> 09:30 PM) Preds trap game is working to perfection right now. Q getting out coached isn't helping matters either. I know it comes down to coaching somewhat, but the Hawks have 4 sure fire hall of famers. Put the puck in the net. Kane should be able to score whether it's against their 1st pairing or 3rd. It's just Josi now, not Josi and Weber. It's also a pretty bad offensive roster, so the fact that Keith is a turnstile is confusing. Not much Q can do, IMO

QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Apr 13, 2017 -> 09:56 AM) First time in my life i could care less about the Cubs. Just another MLB team to me now after they won last year. Its weird. Could or couldn't?

QUOTE (StrykerSox @ Apr 16, 2017 -> 06:20 PM) Since the similarity of each at-bat has made me curious, here is an inventory of all of May's PAs: K looking: 3 K swinging: 5 GO 4: 7 Sac bunt: 1 FO 8: 2 HBP: 1 BB: 1 GO 6: 2 GO 3: 2 Yep. In 24 PAs, he's grounded out to second almost 25% of the time, or four times as much as he hits the ball in the air. While Garcia the best in baseball, May is the worst.

That may have been 420 feet to RF. Holy smokes

Abreu has been terrible

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 16, 2017 -> 09:23 AM) 0 goals in 120 minutes. I think it's close to 156 scoreless playoff minutes going back to game 7 last year.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 15, 2017 -> 08:47 PM) Top pair isn't playing much better. You are 100% correct
-
If Oduya is better than Rozsival- yeah I said it- or Kempny at this point, I'd be very surprised.

Toews hasn't scored a playoff goal in his last 31 playoff periods. Toews was on the ice for 1 Hawks shot and 8 NSH shots. Toews won 2 of 8 draws. FML QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 15, 2017 -> 08:00 PM) Score a goal Win a draw Make a pass Fun with words!

Another really awful period. Toews, Hartman, Keith, Campbell, Oduya = crap

It's looking good that Raw is going to end up with Balor, Wyatt, Ambrose, Miz, Rollins, and if rumors are right, Styles. Who will SD trot out there every week? -
I'll never ditch my tickets. My dad had them since 1979 and finally handed them down. I don't hate the McCaskeys like most, but I realize they're not the best owners. Regardless even a blind squirrel eventually finds an acorn, and one day, they'll be a powerhouse again. I'd hate to get rid of them in the mean time only for them to be great some day I will say that last year was the ONLY time when I couldn't sell the last 2 home games even for way under face value. Even in down years, like Favre's last year for Minnesota, we got $160 over face value for each ticket.

"We the Fans" debuts tonight on ESPN, and at 5:00 Path to the Draft on NFLN is all Bears.

No team in the WC has given up more goals than Nashville

You know, I'm sure Jacob May is a terrific guy but he sucks a** at hitting a baseball

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Apr 6, 2017 -> 08:56 AM) I've got tickets to Backlash already -- but if those above rumored trades occur, I will be enormously heart broken. Odd to know that the house show in Hammond on 4/23 is adverising Styles vs Orton vs Wyatt, so I wonder if they'd scrap that and just go Orton vs Wyatt? -

I have a feeling Rollins is either turning heel or going to SD. He posted a picture of him and Balor from the other night and all he wrote was "things are about to change." -

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 4, 2017 -> 05:20 PM) I watched the first few innings to see everybody bat once at least and see Q get hammered. --Pathetic crowd as expected. That's all on management. Get used to it. -- This team is going to lose so many games it'll make our heads spin. How the hell is Hawk going to broadcast road games for gawd sakes? He's used to a team on paper that is a contender. He said this yesterday himself. Who gives a f*** about Hawk anyway? -- I would assume this would be a great season for folks to get great seats on stubhub once the weather turns and spread out and enjoy the food of the Cell. There won't be any fans getting in your way in the aisles, etc., for years to come. Absolutely no reason to follow any of these players except Anderson. Which is why other posters continue to tell you to pay the vast majority of your attention to Charlotte and Birmingham. Have we ever had a worse starting rotation on paper? Ever a worse defense on paper? Blah team speed. Wow. I stick with 59-63 wins max. Maybe less. Who the hell are we going to beat with this pitching staff and this offense? And this defense? Hopefully no one -
QUOTE (scs787 @ Feb 26, 2017 -> 11:38 AM) July 29th my best friend is getting married in New York and me and my buddy plan on driving instead of flying. The 29th is a Saturday but we plan on heading out that way Thursday morning. What are some cool stops along the way? Niagra Falls and the Statue of Liberty are a given. We are both love food and after spending the next 5 months dieting and exercising we have definitely decided to make stops at awesome restaurants along the way, so if you have any favorite spots I would love to hear about them. Sucks that the Sox are playing Cleveland that weekend, but in Chicago. Would have been nice to catch the game in Cleveland. What part of NY? I mean, Niagara Falls is really f***ing far from NYC/Statue of Liberty.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 2, 2017 -> 11:47 PM) Lesnar vs Brock was awesome. Best 5 minute match ever. Main event was probably the worst main event in WM history. Undertaker couldn't go. Reigns, who can't get over as it is, got put completely in a no win situation by having an absolutely horrible match and ending the career of a legend. Not sure what they do with that. Really good mania overall. Shane vs AJ was MOTN. Shane did awesome, even outside his big spots. Wasn't a case of AJ carrying him either. Just s great match. To be fair, the Undertaker couldn't even move anymore. It wouldn't have mattered if it was Reigns, Angle, Stone Cold or Styles. Undertaker was done. -

Lesnar/Goldberg total fight time was 29 seconds longer than when the first gong went off in Taker's intro The last 5 matches just seemed so rushed. Orton/Wyatt had nothing except the random bug videos, and the women's match was horrific. As for Undertaker, good for that guy. I hope the last few WM's didn't kill his future health. Ideally he should have retired when Lesnar beat him BTW, nice of Samoa Joe to show up -

QUOTE (2005thxfrthmmrs @ Apr 2, 2017 -> 09:14 PM) Holy s***, not sure if Rollins knee was really hurting or he's doing a really good job of selling. There were a couple of spots there where I thought he legit hurt his knee again. I don't think they'd continue to let HHH bash in his knee with a crutch and chair if it wasn't 100%
