OK. Colon is good, yep, we all know that. To me the best part of this trade was getting rid of Jeff Liefer. If only we could've threw in Josh Paul, that would've been a perfect day for me. The Gordon signing is one I really like. I think with him back in the AL, he could be kicking some serious ass. Glover will have to pick up some of the slack in the pen, but he should do fine. As for losing Biddle, well, I liked him from the pen. Looked real good at times, and just god awful the rest of the time. I'd like to see what Rauch can do. Before I leave you all, please just say no to Matt Ginter.

Tatis makes the most out of that group. Nobody wants him though, so the Expos are gonna be stuck with him.

Maybe, just maybe, the Yankees leaked that Colon was fat to throw off the BoSox?

I think the Sox would be better off if Colon went on a hunger strike till he was traded.

Like I said, I'll be upset he didn't end up here. But really if you sit down and look at this thing, Steinbrenner just doesn't care. I love to watch him operate.

Epstein came out and said he didn't think they could land Colon. He hasn't said anything that I have read recently, that would make it seem like Colon will be in Boston.

You're still going to be pissed over who they give up. I really don't care who they give up, but if his weight is as bad as reported, I might not be as "stoked".

Steinbrenner just doesn't give a s***. He's gonna do whatever he can to tell baseball and the Red Sox to go right to hell. If Colon ends up in New York, I'm going to laugh like hell, then after awhile, I'll get upset.

That's a lot different than the Sox already landing Colon.

Yeah, maybe he meant the Red Sox we're getting Colon for Mendoza.

Kinda tough considering Mendoza signed with the Red Sox a few weeks ago.

Well, him being on it will be why the Sox have to give up a ton to make the trade. If the Sox give up some slugs, then people will think it was a 'favor'.

He's just not any damn good. He doesn't walk much, and his swing is an upper cut, where he tries to lift everything. Which leads to a lot of strike outs.
