Dan was one of seven Barons to play in the Southern League All-Star Game. He went 0-2 in the game, but he drew two walks and finished second in the HR hitting contest. Also, Bleacher Report has some nice things to say about him. #14

I laughed when Hawk referred to Boers & Bernstein as "Gutless Wonders" and "Jay Mariotti Wannabees" during today's telecast. Should be a fun listen tomorrow.

A few more interesting stats of Dan's... He's hitting.. .342 with bases empty .252 with runners on base .224 with RISP Not very clutch this season, is he? I'm glad to see he's playing again, he has no statistics between 6/30 and 7/7. I saw him play a few times for Purdue, and I was thrilled when the Sox drafted him. I'd love to see him make it to the Major Leagues.
