Anybody else here familiar with Mike Bolton Jr. of Purdue? Kid is FAST... has led the Big Ten in stolen bases the past two years, and holds the school record for SB. A solid hitter and solid outfielder. He's a Chicago kid; played at Brother Rice, and was part of the White Sox ACE program. Maybe 10th round or so.

I have long felt that the rebuild seemed a bit half-assed. I liked the system in the 90s, when there was always a Ray Durham, a Carlos Lee, a Magglio Ordonez, a Joe Crede, an Aaron Rowand, or a Mark Buehrle just waiting in the wings.

How many times do you think this team will get shut out this season? I'll go with 70.

With a 6.79 ERA, I'm amazed we got anything for Bummer. I won't miss him. [

I was never a fan of banning the shift.

I was there. Got to go inside the Sox clubhouse and on the field behind home plate. Got Hawk and Wimpy's autographs. Man, was it cold that day. ?

And a pinch of Gonorrhea. Say what you want about Renteria, but at least his teams played hard [remember ''Ricky's boys don't quit?]. While many of his managerial moves literally made me scream, his marginally talented teams were more fun to watch than almost anything I saw in the 2023 White Sox.

The first step towards recovery is admitting that there is a problem... clearly a breath of fresh air from the previous regime who was constantly trying to blow sunshine up our asses. Reportedly there were multiple cancers in that clubhouse last year, and I have long believed that TA was one of them. I hope they don't trade Robert, but I don't consider him untradeable if the price is right.

I can't help but think that Kenny made this trade as one final F--K YOU on his way out the door. I'm sure this has been posted before but it shows how `f---ed up the KenHahn arrangement was.
