Tonight: Detroit: 17 runs, 27 hits Kansas City: 7 runs, 10 hits KC record: (15-29) 11 GB. Let the "scattering" begin.

We haven't won........yet. Sure, I'm happy as hell they loss but it doesn't mean anything unless we take advantage of it.
-
Justin Morneau strikes out. TB wins 5--4. Now its all up to the White Sox
-
Mientkiewicz, like a little b****, strikes out swinging. 2 down.
-
Baez in 1 out.
-
TB fails to add some insurance runs. Lets hope Minnesota goes down quietly in the ninth inning. Oh, and KC is getting their asses beat 12-2 at the hands of Detroit.
-
TB threatening in the bottom of the 8th. 1st and 3rd with one out, Toby Hall up.

Happy Birthday Flasoxx. You're an intelligent poster with an outstanding amount of knowledge towards various topics. This was over a month ago, but how you refuted the theory of a several heralded scientists (regarding evolution) impressed the hell out of me.

MTV apparently has GROSSLY overestimated their gay, lesbian viewing audience. I give it 5 months.......at that point MTV executives will admit their mistake and pull it.

Very. Several years ago I recall some kids at Lyons Township School videotaping themselves taking advantage of a drunk girl. Don' believe it was to the severity of this incident, but those kids lives were made a living HELL when that story broke out in the local media. Their friends were lost, houses vandalized, and careers forever tainted.

I believe its rather simple: He enjoys being the focal point of attention. From squashing rampant trolls, to answering his critics, Corg obviously excepts his role. Many leave because of the conditions of that site, but he appears to thrive. Don't know how anyone has proof of his affiliation with the White Sox, or prior instances where he has proved himself to possess "inside knowledge." I've talked to him several times on the MLB board about Greektown and the area surrounding UIC and he appeared friendly. Even though I don't mind him as a poster, I find it odd how the White Sox organization never does anything wrong in his eyes. After each of Wrights starts Corg would reinstate his confidence in Danny Wright. "He'll be fine" he said. When information became available last week how DW could have sustained shoulder, elbow injuries he made no attempt to admit his mistakes (even when posters reminded him of his past comments). I have a feeling that if Ncorg posted here regularly many would quickly become annoyed of his "know it all" antics.

I'm whoever the hell this crazy bastard is : Dr. Weird! The main cause of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force's troubles, you're always coming up with some new creation that will wreak havoc on the town. Eccentric and a little bit crazy, you like to try different things, even if it's not the best idea.

Well, suppose that's a possibility.....if he did use those words in that context it was just plain luck that I decided to type in "soxtalk.com" and arrive at this site.
-
Usually, Willsy only mentions White Sox Interactive (when talking of fan sites) on his post game show. Although he did ONCE say something to the effect of, "Soxtalk and Whitesoxinteractive are there for all White Sox fans looking to talk to one another." That was in mid June when I heard that; it was the first time I knew either site existed. After browsing both I decided I liked this format better and registered as a member a month later. Far as publicity, there remains ways you can plug the site. Possibly the easiest is to call into a "Talking Baseball segment" on ESPN1000 and mention Soxtalk sometime during your message. I'd recommend name dropping this site on The Score, except there remains a risk of all large contingent of drillroads trolling this site because of the plug.
-
I don't know either, though CW brought up a point that baseball players (minor on major) may be browsing anonymously to remain low key. Sufficient reasoning, I suppose. Even though it escapes me why someone would chose to create a handle that only draws attention to themselves. I'll expose one anonymous member only because its fairly obvious, and I have NO idea why he continues to do it: Brandofan. Buddy, just remember you aren't in Russia anymore.....no need to remain hidden as so many of your disgruntled, post-communism scientists have been.

This sounds like some teaser to a segment on Fox News Chicago: In a low, ominous voice: "The Black Death is lying dormant, waiting to strike at any moment and KILL YOU..........tune in at 9 for further details." No worries here. If I ever have a pussed filled boil surface on my neck I'll be quick to seek medical help.

Sox win, Twins are disgraced. This win pulls them into a tie for first place. :fthecubs
-
Of course, second pitch and botch gives up a humdinger. Not even Botch can botch this game with a 10 run lead.........can he?
-
NICE changeup from Shingo for 2nd out. Shingo does work through the lead off walk and escapes the inning. Top of the 9th, Sox lead big.
-
Shingo, your team is up by 11 runs......throw some damn strikes!!!
-
17 runs, 23 hits........and Sox still stranded 13 runners! Twins had it lucky today, it could (and should have) been much worse.

Don't act as if you care for the homosexuals in this world Beastly. In light of your recent insults toward the injured DW, I'm sure you're only trying to convey to everyone how considerate of a person you really are. As if you heart bleeds when someone is called "GAY." Quit the bulls***. Everyone here understands if you tell your friends to stop calling each other gay because, "Everyone is different and sexual orientation doesn't matter" they'll laugh.......for a long time. 10 months as a member of Soxtalk I have read enough of your posts to comprehend what you have posted above is a sad attempt to prove yourself as a responsible poster; which you're not. I dont know whats more annoying: your emotional outbursts or the pathetic attempts you make to cover your tracks.

Classic Rock. Simple as that. EDIT: Only one vote! Well, when some of the older posters wake up from their naps this number will only increase.
