  1. Carlos walks, Frank remains at second. Valentin up with 1 out.
  2. This has happened several times now. A Sox runner is thrown out stealing, then the next batter immediately proceeds to get a hit. Do your job Carlos.
  3. Maggio thrown out at second (somehow). Ozzie, stop running players not named Uribe or Harris into outs.
  4. Leadoff walk. Second for maggs in as many AB's. Frank will be bunting to advance the runner, no doubt
  5. Inning over. Surprisingly, only one run comes across the board. 1-0 Tribe.
  6. Another one of those evenings...... A soft grounder bounces off Credes glove and into LF.
  7. Jose misplays another ball. This is beyond ridiculous.
  8. Good, I suppose, but the ball didn't appear to make any sort of funny bounce. Omar tried to anticipate a hop but it never bounced into his glove. Dammit. Willie misjudges the wall and misses a deep fly in center. Leadoff man on second, no outs.
  9. Crede strikes out to end the second. Second time around in this lineup our hitters are going to become even more anxious, (and with the score tied) we'll all be entertained with another popout filled evening.
  10. Paulie reaches on an error pass Vizquel. Good Hawk comment, "If you missed yesterdays game..........GOOD." Who says hes a complete homer?
  11. Garland retires sox killer Vizquel on a K. 2 down.
  12. Nice peg by Crede at third. Ball almost gets caught in the webbing again, but crede hustles on the throw and records the out.
  13. Frank, you guessed it, POPPED IT UP to end the first. Maggs is stranded at 1b (after a walk). Frank is in a mighty funk. I hear Hawk say something like 1-18?
  14. What? No game day chat? Guess I'll have to make my observations, comments within this thread.
  15. Yeah, but a double header wouldn't sound too inviting immediately before the four game set in Minnesota.
  16. Funny. On yesterdays radio broadcast of the game, Farmer said today's forecast gave no indication of rain. But, of course, gametime arrives and its pouring out. Not sure how warm it is out in Cleveland, but the weather here in Chicago isn't much better. The Cubs are going to have fun tonight with low 50's and high probability of rain throughout the evening. :fthecubs
  17. LEE, thats how you hit son. (3-3: One double, two singles) 9-0 Sox.
  18. Nobody is "hating" on you because of your neighborhood, because you're rich doesn't mean anything (to me atleast). Its easier to dislike New trier (and the surrounding areas) due to Cub fans inhabiting it. Honestly, to me you're only a poster on this board, there's no need to discriminate rich/poor. Far as anyone on this board knows I could be dirt-ass poor, or living in a million dollar home on the south side of Palos.
  19. I'll add that this well known high school resembles that of Beverly Hills 90210, in that all of the rich kids (Evanston/Winnetka) attend it. Since Trier's location is off the North shore, Cub fans likely swarm its "prestigious" grounds. That alone makes Shuf's comment towards Wsox an insult.
  20. Qwerty, I was looking at the thread in SLP devoted to your avatar, do you live in Burbank IL or Burbank CA? (Whitesoxin04 was saying something about going out to Cali to kick your ass) If you clarified it before I must of missed it.
  21. Does she know her picture is out in the public for all to see? Tell you something else, I wouldn't mind you expanding that picture a little bit to the right because the other girl doesn't look bad . Off course I can only see 1/10 of her face, but I doubt there's any deformities.
  22. If it was a Sox fan who was made scape goat, no doubt about it the body would be blown up. Though I disagree about the location, because extinguishing the curse in centerfield brings in no added revenue. Harry Careys restaurant would be perfect for this sort of shameless event
  23. All three. I have no job until June so I'm cherishing every moment of free time. By the way, nice avatar (Don't know how long you'll be allowed to keep it, but nice nevertheless)
  24. Knowing Cub fans, the corpse outside Wrigley would only become the scapegoat to another terrible season.
  25. Welcome aboard. It'd be great if the Sox can atleast pull an average of 25,000 over the next three days. Weather isn't great, but looks decent for the weekend. Today: May 14 Rain 66°/41° 90 % (chance for rain) Sat: May 15 Mostly Sunny 59°/38° 0 % Sun: May 16 Mostly Sunny 68°/50° 20 %
