  1. Sorry, i didnt see the game was on WCIU. Damn, i wanted to see the game on ESPN. People living in Chicago see the game on WCIU instead of ESPN.
  2. WHAT THE f***, THEY'RE NOT SHOWING THE GAME. WHY IS THE HOME RUN DERBY ON!!!!!!!!
  3. I will begin this thread since everybody who starts these are probably at the game. Only 5 minutes till game time on ESPN............ Garland vs. Hernandez.
  4. If they got arrested for anything it should be for beating the s*** out of the Royals, especially that f** Jose Lima.

  6. I just noticed there are only two other games being played tonight: MIn vs. Bal Tor vs. TB No wonder we are on ESPN, there are no worthy easy coast times to shine on national television.
  7. I wonder if our good buddy Chris Berman will be doing the play by play. Its normally Morgan and the white guy, but you never know.

    KC

It better not rain tonight, its looks like some big f***ing clouds are moving from the south.
  9. I voted 2/3, it seems the safest bet to make. Beating any first place team (granted we're talking about the royals) is difficult to do. The first two games we're basically ass whoopings, but we almost lost the third one. It seems if we are playing a one or two run ballgame, then the advantage goes to KC. 2/3 were 1 game behind first place going into Oakland, which has beaten the Yankees in two straight games. Im glad tonights game in on ESPN so we can show the nation that The Sox have a fan base. If they put on a convincing ass whooping, then our frail confidence will be regained.

Your picking up a stranger from South Carolina and bringing him to a sox game? If he drove all the way from South Carolina im surprised he wouldnt just drive himself to da cell. It would be funny if this guy was some 70 year old sox fan. Hopefully we'll see you on this board again, and not buried next to Hoffa in the parking lot.

Thats "X Gon Give it To Ya." By DMX. Suprised nobody else on this board knew it. I must be the only one who listens to rap.
  13. I can't believe we got only 3 f***ing hits off Franklin. I thought the advantage of an offensive team is that when one guy isnt hitting, another can fill in. Regardless, Im confident of a win tomorrow. Maybe these guys arent comfortable when their 5th starter comes out to pitch. Everyone knows how moody this team can be. If they can bounce back from the whooping and put up: 1. A good pitching performance, 2. A f***ing hit parade, we should walk out with ther series. And going into the KC series tied for first place would be a boost going home.
  14. Did Anyone see how Minnesota won yesterday on Sportscenter? It was such bulls*** it reminded of their team last year. With 2 outs, a 1-2 count, and players on 1st and Second the Orioles pitcher strikes out a Minnesota player (cant remember who) for the last out. The problem was the ball flew out of the catchers hand and goes to the backstop. The player runs to first base, and once again escapes ending the game when the first baseman cant catch the throw from the catcher. Meanwhile Doug M..... ties the game. Of course Minnesota ends up winning in extra innings off of a Metrodome hope. This team is starting to aggrivate me, and they play the Detroit Tigers tonight. KC has been shot down, and can easily lose the series to TB. Before we begin to draw all our attention on KC, its worth noting Minnesota is creeping back, slowly.
  15. 1) Who will win the series (CHW/SEA) (2 points)? CHW 2) Will Scott Schoeneweis pitch at least 3 innings (Y/N) (2 points)? Y 3) How many errors will the Sox make (4 points)? 3 4) Which Sox infielder will get on base the most (4 points)? Konerko 5) How many strikeouts will Bartolo Colon have (5 points)? 5 6) How many home runs will the Sox hit in the series (5 points)? 5 7) In how many innings will the Sox score three or more runs (4 points)? 3 8) Will Carl Everett have more than four hits (Y/N) (2 points)? N 9) Who will have more RBI in the series? Maggs or Konerko (2 points)? Konerko 10) Will Mike Cameron hit a home run (Y/N) (2 points)? Y TIEBREAKER: How many innings will the bullpen pitch in the series? 8
  16. I thought someone looked at the numbers and said Appier shouldnt be the solution to the 5th starter controversy. Chances are Wright will get the nod during the Seattle series. When the day arrives for Wright, lets hope we can support him with.........10 or 11 runs.
  17. I dont have to convince any of you how good Tampa Bay is playing right now. They put up a good fight in our series, and have recently swept Toronto. Im hoping they can get 2 out of 3, or sweep KC. As far as Seattle, they are slumping right now; regardless of how they played against Detroit. Im just worried about the Sox Killers: Ichiro, Cameron, Edgar Martinez. We face Garcia tomorrow, we often gives up big runs. 2 out of 3 is acceptable with me, even if it would mean losing a game in the standings. We have to tackle Oakland too, and this guy Harden is a f***ing stud. Chances are he will pitch in the first or second game, and we haven't faced him before.
  18. Whats that, 6 popups in a row for Frank. End of the inning, Sox 3-KC2. We need more runs to win this game. Frank is obsessed on having career hit 2,000 be a home run.
  19. Sacrifice Fly by El Caballo. 3-2 Sox. Big Frank Up.
  20. Single by Alomar, Olivo flies into third. First on third with one out. Do your job C LEE
  21. basehit by Olivo. 1 on with 1 out. Lets keep the line moving Robbie.
  22. Crede does his job.POPUP!!!!!!!!!
  23. Good break there. Popup to Lee for the second out
