  1. QUOTE(ReinsdorfSucks @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 08:55 PM) what's with all the negativity in here? we're still in first place right? no problems. we're untouchable right? how you haven't gotten banned yet i have no idea.
  2. QUOTE(ReinsdorfSucks @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 08:49 PM) ABSOLUTELY. no way he should be cheered. cheering is an endorsement of his failure. you are by far, the worse white sox fan i have ever seen. This young kid comes up to fill in for an injury. Are you expecting a cy young? he's 21 years old, yeah let's boo him, that will surely help him. As i've said before, you're a joke.
  3. QUOTE(ReinsdorfSucks @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 08:46 PM) DUMBASS FANS CHEERING THAT CHUMP are you serious?
  4. once again, pablo is the man. way to make use of you rplaying time, unlike willie.
  5. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 07:43 PM) He hits a ton of infield singles. I don't know where you have been. who cares, he's been great for this team. wish he got more playing time.
  6. knight's gonna surpass southsider after this thread
  7. gooch is such an awesome DP man, has he ever screwd up one?
  8. i expect a quality start. it is the royals....
  9. QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 04:15 PM) Damnit, knight, I would so take you up on that offer if not for basketball. It's ruining my damn summer... ya bum.
  10. we can still be a top 25 team next year, definitely.
  11. gretzky threw out the first pitch.
  12. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 03:13 PM) Exactly. I have a TON of confidence in this team, but while I consider myself an optomist, I also think im a realist, and August is going to be a b****, best team in baseball or not. Just keep stockpiling these games now, and just survive August. exactly, august is our hardest month. stockpile the wins and pull away as much as possible now, it will definitely help then.
  13. very cool, she does a great job. really adds something to the ballpark.
  14. Jose's vs. the cubs in 03 cubs to mind. Also the july game against the twins. With paulie and frank going deep. That july game was probably the funnest game i've watched.
  15. QUOTE(Stocking @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 01:29 PM) can someone post a copy of it in a MP3 format to rip? here you go guys. it's already on my ipod https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/sliccar2/www/Lets...p3?uniq=-xsm09h
  16. just say 7.5 games, it'll make you smile.
  17. this is the first time i've looked at this. absolutely hilarious.
  18. QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 10:45 AM) If you could add one big name, what position would you pick? For me ... starting pitcher. Push El Duque or McCarthy to spot start or long relief. Edit: This has the makings of a special season. All bets are off, they have to take the approach of going for it this year (of course you don't want to be stupid and drastically overpay). But to me, right now, every single prospect is available, assuming you get the right piece(s) in return. It would have to be a very special trade, but again, to me all bets are off. if we were to get anybody, you gotta go to the pitching side of things. Either a setup man/closer or a 4/5 starter. Especially since no one knows duque's situation anymore.
  19. QUOTE(Sox Hustler @ Jun 19, 2005 -> 11:38 PM) Carlos Lee with a league leading 60th RBI in Brew Crew's win. Thats a s*** load of RBI's, I am happy for him and hope he makes his 1st AS team, well deserved. I miss ya #45 keep up the good work. what a great trade it was for both sides. I can see the sox and brewers becomming fast trading friends.
  20. I think we've come to expect something big from KW every deadline, this year may be different. You gotta agree with him, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
  21. by this time next week, the avg. will probably increase another 1000. The royals series should draw around 25k and then there's 3 straight sellouts.
  22. Just got back from the game, sox giving me an awesome bday present. Frank's AB was huge, we played small-ball perfectly, an awesome game.
