Just got back from the game. Illinois just out-muscled and out-played minny from the first minute. They really didn't stand a chance. Powell came up with a huge game.

Who's behind this, what are they saying in these meetings? "lets make him narrower and it'll look tougher, therefore we'll be better."

It went from a sitcom-type cartoon to a political commentary. It's absolutely hilarious now

Gooch seems to fit the best. besides who doesn't like saying gooch? it's a fun word

Offense: Pods. For him to be effective, he needs to get on base. If he gets on base....we become so much more dangerous. Pitching: Either Contreras/Duque....one of them needs to stay healthy and perform well. If they both have one of their "shaky" years...our rotation is going to be just as shaky as it was in past years.

I haven't really chimed in on this whole topic. Even though i think this is one of the dumbest arguments ever. Wiscy played a great game and could have won that game. Missed open shots/free throws at the end of the game helped us illini fans not have to sweat it out in the closing minutes. I for one, think illinois has a really good chance of losing in the tournament to be perfectly honest. If their shots aren't falling from the outside and a team shoots better than Iowa did, we lose. If you've ever had a spanish class here at the UIUC....that is the definition of busy work. If you've had it, you know what i'm talking about.

I honestly.......don't know. Illinois has had games where tey look like they should be able to take wisconsin down pretty handily. And then there's been games where Wisconsin could blow us out (ie: the iowa game) . All i know, it's going to be a damn good game to watch.

If you look through the member pages there are TONS of members that have 0 posts, maybe cleaning some of those accounts out will help save space?

go to the iguchi thread up top, that's what we're talking about now. I for one, would keep willie on the bench. why not? He could pinch run, be a decent pinch hitter....and doesn't cost alot. It's not like your going to get alot in return if you trade him.
