It does feel like they've been better lately. Per AI - "Chicago White Sox Relivers: Put together a dominant stretch allowing only 8 earned runs over 45.2 innings dating back to July 8, holding opponents to a .180 batting average.". That was from an article on July 23rd. Not sure where I can find cumulative bullpen stats from the month of July, but I think they've been pretty good.

Dude has a 200 wRC+ in 21 games in AA after tonights game. He's been a complete freak. Dude could be up next year if his catching is good enough.

And Boston Smith with an absurd 199 wRC+ in AA. That's through 20 games via fangraphs. It's probably at 200 after his 3-5 game tonight (game 21). What a freak the guy has been in his first season of milb ball. 22 HRs in 77 games so far. When does this guy become a for real prospect? He's 23, so it's not like he's old for AA, especially as a catcher.

I sure hope so. The margin of error for a guy throwing 90-91 is just small. He'll needs great command and good secondaries. Hendricks had elite command.

Jimmy Wammo seems to think they're fast tracking this dude. I don't know if he means that's what they've done so far (he's been in A, A+ and AA this season), or if he expects this guy to be up in the near future. He's been kind of cheeks in AA so far.

That's disappointing. I don't think he'll ever be better than a #4 or #5 guy with that velocity.

Fangraphs is a joke. The Athletic/Keith Law had him at 30 at least.

He should have been a top 10 guy in the mid season rankings.
