  4. No political talk, folks
  5. Portnoy's barstool fund has raised 33m for small businesses. He's brash, but he has become the people's champ and rehabilitated his image.
  6. Robinhood stopping people from buying GME caused it to tank from 390 to 130 in about a half hour. They may have effectively killed the movement
  7. Should point guards not score the ball? He averaged 7.8 assists during his MVP season and the following season.
  8. The elites are putting down the clamps
  9. Their discord got banned at the same time. Crazy.
  10. Interesting, thanks for the knowledge. So I'm assuming the brokerage is on the hook, not just the random people who own the stocks, since the brokerage authorized it?
  11. So if I own some stock, can my brokerage authorize my stock to be shorted by a hedge fund, or do I have to authorize it? Or is it more likely the hedge funders came to an agreement with a person/company that owns a lot of GME stock?
  12. So they say.
  13. So who pays for this if the hedge funds (melvin capital, etc) aren't able to? The amount they will owe by Friday is absolutely absurd
  14. To be fair Ray Ray, it was me who deleted the thread. I've got a reputation to uphold. I couldn't have you proving me wrong in my own thread. It wasn't the mods. Since then, the power to delete your own threads has been revoked. They even brought back the thread I deleted. Feels bad.
  15. You don't pass up an opportunity to prove ray ray wrong, especially after he calls you "Pal".
  16. There was a thread I made that had a bunch of basketball talk in it. He bumped it up because me and others told him he was wrong about some things (valuing Colin Sexton above Wendell Carter Jr, among other things). He ended up being right, so he bumped it to prove us wrong. I ended up deleting the thread because I didn't want him gloating towards me. (I made it, so I was able to delete it). He thought Tony deleted the thread, so he made a post trashing Tony and then said he was leaving. He hasn't been back since. I feel slightly bad because I liked the guy, but it's his fault for overreacting, lol. Here's his going away post http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?/topic/110142-2020-nba-regular-season-thread/&do=findComment&comment=4038930
  17. Sweet, thanks bmags
  18. I think this is all a ploy by RagahRagah so he can surpass me for number 14 on the reputation point list. He secretly wants all the laugh emojis. If you enjoyed a post of mine, be sure to hit the "like" bottom on the bottom right corner of the post. Thanks folks.
  19. Nope, just edit and quote
  20. Nope, can't delete posts
  21. Why do I have a sneaky suspicion that the ability to delete posts is being restored for everybody aside from me ?
  22. Fun fact - I am #14 in total reputation points on this forum
  23. I'm going out on a big time limb here, but I THINK people would stop laughing at your posts if you: 1. Stopped the constant complaining about people laughing at your posts. Obviously this will result in more people doing it... 2. Stopped acting like such a condescending douche in most of your posts. *Eagerly waiting for a response about how I inaccurately used "constant" and "most" in my response*
  24. Warmest greetings from White Sox Discussion!
