It's spring training. The lineups are full of guys who won't even be on the 26 man roster. Games are shorter and teams are rolling innings. These games mean very little. Regardless, they hammered the ball yesterday. Calling the offense "lifeless" a day after they killed the opposing pitching is just a stretch.

They won 7-0 yesterday in a 7 inning game where the Indians rolled at least one inning due to the Sox pelting them. That doesn't seem lifeless to me.

It's so strange that Coop was anti curve ball. Cease, Giolito and ReyLo all has good looking curves early on. Having them abandon it is just strange. I haven't read anything from the organization, scouts or insiders indicating that Vaughn ISN'T ready for the majors. It's pretty obvious he is ready and will be up early in the season.
