The players don't know what is good for them. Tony is the devil, and he is responsible for everything wrong with last year's team and the teams going forward. I'm not sure how long it will take to shed the TLR stink.

The biggest scapegoat of them all, TLR, is white. People are making this into a race thing when it really isn't.

What other players this year have made comments similar to what TA said? Nobody went after Tony harder than I did last year, but we can't keep blaming him for this season.

How about a little personal responsibility for TA here? Blaming Tony still is ridiculous. The players liked him by all accounts, but he was just a horrible manager. Give Tony and the org some blame, sure. TA isn't free of blame. I'd imagine if he is "a wreck" like you said, part of it probably comes from the drama of knocking up somebody that isn't your wife.

This would be a very Rays type thing to do, especially with Colson waiting in the wings.

The comments about Benintendi are a bit surprising. Pretty much saying Benintendi is just a good player, but Tim is way better and he should get paid. What the hell does he expect? He signed a contract before he was a sure thing. Of course he is underpaid. That's on him.
