Wow, so 3 HRs for Gonzalez today

If he gets called up earlier in the season, absolutely he does. I'm still not ruling it out at this point.

Jacob Gonzalez with 2 HRs today. Mashed both of them, which is nice to see. Would have gone out in any stadium. His home-away splits still scare me (1.206 OPS home, .756 OPS away).

What's the deal with this Boston Smith fella? He's a little old for A+ (23), but not egregious. He's a catcher that is posting a 1.043 OPS with a .294 BA, .435 OBP and 9 HRs in 30 games in A+. He's off to one hell of a start in A+. He is striking out 30% of the time though. Gotta lower that a bit. Getz got him for Mead. Kudos to Getz once again. Hopefully this guy can become a major leaguer.

His stuff is straight dirty. So much movement. Add to that topping out at 99. Legitimately has ace stuff. He just needs to throw strikes and he'll be alright.

Sandlin's sinker is just filthy. Look at that movement at 93 MPH. The sweeper and curveball were dirty as well. Good late break on them. I can see why he struggles with walks. His pitches have a ton of movement.

Their fanbase is totally demoralized. That win streak was smoke and mirrors. The offense was way overperforming.

Gonzalez has a 1.261 OPS with 12 HR at home and a .756 OPS with 3 HR away. He's been getting lucky with that little league prk in Charlotte.

As much as I've stanned for Gonzo, he has a 1.261 OPS with 12 HR and home and a .739 OPS with 3 HR away. He's benefitting from that bandbox in Charlotte. I'm bearish on him after seeing those splits.
