I say the Bears should just lose out the rest of the games this season. It's not like winning would do them any good. It's all about getting a high draft pick now. Did you know that the Bears have had more injuries this season than any season in the history of the Bears (and our franchise dates back to the start of the game), and we have six more games left? People CANNOT say that we can't use injuries as a good excuse for the turns of this season. Injuries ARE a MAJOR reason for this s***.

Yes, Manchester Hall is still standing and running well. I never lived there though, living in Haynie for the first two years (yes waaaaaaaaaay out in Tri Towers). Definitely the most rowdy dorm here on the lovely ISU campus (man is it quite the dorm of rape as well now a'days). Manchester is only 1 1/2 blocks away from my dorm, which happens to be the tallest college dorm in the world, Watterson Towers. How did you know about Manchester?

I know that the coaches are doing far below the s***ty level, and do I ever want Shoop's head on a platter right now, but injuries are a big part of the equation as to why this has been a suck-ass season. You cant be missing 5 defensive starters (including the NFL's best tackler against the run for the past eight as well as your leading tackler from last year), 3 starting olineman, your fullback, your starting QB and your 2nd best reciver and still expect to be good. This team is so depleated it's not even funny anymore! I can't wait for the offseason to hit...And it'll be easy to go through since there is always Blackhawks hockey to follow. All I want is for this season to be done with.

Somewhere I heard that the Yankees are looking to draw up an extension for Pettitte, but it's looking more like Philly will be getting at least Glavine. Anyway, in response to the original post...The Yankees are always involved in what seems to be virtually every rumor around. Many of them don't even pann out, so I wouldn't get my hopes up about Colon's possibilities coming here yet.

Oh, things are always going great at the world's greatest university! I just have two more semesters left after this, and then I go back home for student teaching...and then into the REAL teaching world! Oh, and since I am going to be a high school math teacher, I have MUCH power given me! Such as the power of brainwashing! I will instill a deep passion for Chicago and ISU sports by putting the Hawks, Bears, Sox, Bulls, and Redbirds in my mathematical story problems on exams and homework! Here's one for all the ladies: We have this group here at ISU called Red Rage. We are the athletic fan club here at ISU. All of us girls were given the opportunity to purchase tight-ass "Red Rage Cutie" tee shirts. What I am thinking is for the ladies to have the option to be called a "White Sox Cutie."

Now c'mon people...we cannot have all of this Clayton bashing here! Afterall, Hawk DID compare him to the great Cal Ripken!

I used to post at the Sox official site under the name of chisoxfanatic, but I didn't post much there since they made the switch from being privately controlled by Ignite Media to being controlled by the cookie-cutter MLB. Oh, and one thing you must watch out for is Mike South's cat!

But do you by chance still have the old thread saved from the old Sox official site's boards (ya know, the one that was run by Ignite, not this s***ty-ass MLB one) called "Last Night I Meat the Sox," which was started by Big Frank. I think everyone on this board could use a big laugh.

This is the best news I've heard all offseason (minus Murcielago's statement that we got Colon for Johnson and Harris...f*** you, Murcie )!!! He is THE leader of the team. I think this might be a sign that Frank's days here are limited, as it shows that HE is the leader of the team now. I was staring at my Konerko poster on my wall for like a half hour last night wondering what they'd be doing with him. This just makes my day!!!

How about having a little corner on the main page of Soxtalk where it states those posters who have a birthday on that given day, plus their ages, so we can all wish them a happy birthday.
