I know I didn't put this in my original post, so you didn't know this but...The thing is...she doesn't even take the effort to find out what is happening in the Packer world. She lives down here in IL now, which means she can't watch many games, but in the age of the Internet, sports ignorance is not allowed. When the Packers are able to be viewed down here, she's not watching the game. This girl couldn't even tell you ANYTHING about what even has happened THIS SEASON with the Packers. She is definitely not even a casual fan.

If this was supposed to be an actual link, it sure as hell doesn't work.

Oh, and when I asked what made this girl the Packer fan she is, she said it was because she lived in Milwaukee for three years. WHAT KIND OF f***ING ANSWER IS THAT! Just because you live somewhere DOES NOT make you a fan of a team that plays in your home area! WHAT A CLUELESS NON-PACKER FAN b****!

I ask you all this, because one of my biggest pet peeves has been recently violated. Let me explain... _________________________________ The girlfriend of a guy of whom I USED to call a friend of mine claims to be a Packer fan. When I asked her to name just five players on the team, she couldn't get past Brett Favre. This REALLY got to me. How clueless can she be, calling herself a fan of a team and being unable to name more than their star player (WHEN THERE ARE ABOUT 55 PLAYERS ON A FOOTBALL TEAM!). You should NOT be able to call yourself a fan of a team if... 1.) You don't know your s*** about the current team (how trades would help your team, different game-day situations your team might face, stuff about your team's players, and be able to name at least in the double digits of players on the team). 2. You don't know stuff about your franchise's history (a great deal of that being stuff that happened eras before you were born). 3. You don't know s*** about the sport the team you say you're a fan of plays. When I started to whip my Bears s*** out at her, she was TOTALLY clueless and unable to respond! She IS NOT a Packer fan. _________________________________ And so, one of my biggest pet peeves is how loosely the word "fan" is thrown around. What are some of yours?

I personally am not sad about DT being out for the rest of the season, since this year's already a lost cause. It's better that he rest up for next year, because we don't want to rush him after his injury, and be DT at 100%. This also gives the others a chance to step up to the plate and showcase for the next season, showing Jerry Angelo if they are worthy of a roster spot next year.

Somehow I bet the Des Plaines Police will contact the Chicago Police immediately if this were to happen!

Guys, guys, guys!!!!! Can't we just get along here? It is obvious that sideshow and doublem have seriously established their own views and have good reasons behind them. You others as well have your own views that you support. I'm not going to say which views are right and wrong, because I am neither left or right wing. I play it down the middle. Yea, I have the Mark Bell of political viewpoints instead of the Tyler Arnason or Kyle Calder. But, let's just end it here!!! It is obvious, as the length of this thread displays, that you are not going to convince the other side the validity of your views, so why bother when you might say something you regret? I guess it takes a woman to create some sanity in here.

I'll tell ya! Those officials in Tampa were out to hand the Lightening an easy victory, allowing Tampa nearly half the game on the power play. But all and all, justice was served! Korolev does the unthinkable...he scores not one BUT TWO goals!!! Included was the game-winner in OT! I flipped over to watch the final 9 minutes of the Bulls game, and all I have to say is they played with heart. Donyell Marshall is a beast, and Houston is going to hate themselves for allowing Jay Williams to fall to us as each game goes by! Both were keys to the victory over New Jersey! Here's to Tampa!!!!
