  1. That's because you have to have administrative power in order to do such a thing. Contact one of the site administrators (Chisoxfn, MurcieOne, Molto) about said desire.
  2. First, you must log out. Next, when you log back in, there should be a clickable option of which you may choose if you wish to not be on the "users online" list, hence an 'annonymous user.' If this doesn't work, then it's probably in your user control panel.
  3. My Illinois State Redbirds travel to Charleston, IL to play the Eastern Illinois Panthers. Defensive standout MLB Boomer Grigsby will be tackling at bone crushing speed. On the flipside of defense, the Redbirds have some notable offensive playmakers (QB Michael Souza, RB Demetrus Johnson, WR Dwayne Smith). It should be a very competitive game, and I'm looking forward to a possiblity of a 3-1 start going into our final non-conference game next week at home against Florida Atlantic. Saturday's game can be seen on Fox Sports Chicago at 1:30.
  4. Heather, I'm behavin' just like always! I'm not dressed... Whatever you do, please do it waaaaaay off yonder!!! And the next time I see you riding those water skis, I'm gonna lock em up for good!!!
  5. I'm working on something MAJOR with regards to our next form of entertainment! Now if only we could get Corgie and KY to behave off Starboard, it may work!!!

  7. Well, 3 CG's in a row will do that for you, especially with a team that's in such a tight pennant race like the Sox. Hats off to Colon for giving us all we need him to give!
  8. Does anyone know what has become of Kelly (Num1SoxGirl)? I really enjoyed her company aboard the Little Boat, and her infamous "WSWS" slogan will forever live on! Capn Sat, did OldSingleton finish swabbing the deck?
  9. The Tribe have played Minnesota very closely these first three games...They even were able to win a game. If they can pitch a good game, I don't think it's out of the question of if they can knot this series up at two games a side.
  10. You do not want Garland anchoring this all-important series. Loaiza's been solid all year, safe a few outings. He's constantly brought his 'A' game to the table, and could bring a huge momentum shift in our favor for the rest of the series if he blindsights the Twins.
  11. :fyou Seriously, ISU's not a bad team.
  12. Uhhhh, SAT... Hotsoxchick is the BARTENDER, not the Entertainment Officer...The Entertainment Officer is I.
  13. Just to let everyone in on this whole "Little Boat" saga. Sat created the "Little Boat" back in the 2000 season (when MLB didn't run the whitesox.com board, but instead, Ignite Media did). Every season, the "Little Boat" has a goal to reach the "Far Shore" (the playoffs). Once we reach the "Far Shore," we board the "Little Tank," which hopefully will lead us to the Promised Land. I am the Head of Entertainment aboard the "Little Boat." Hotsoxchick is the Head Bartender, bringing us the greatest margaritas and other drinks. Just don't look too far off Starboard, since Corgie has been known to wear nothing but tight speedoes, and he overworks Keaddy, who has been forced to paddle the lifeboat.
  14. Definitely not going to the game. Have a party in the city. But we might head to Jimbo's after. I'll let you know. If you're going to Jimbo's after the game, call Henry's cell phone. I'm meeting him at his place, and we're driving to the game together, and we could go there after the game.
  15. If you'd like to watch it, the ISU game's gonna be on Fox Sports Chicago and Fox Sports Midwest this Saturday afternoon. Boomer Grigsby's gonna impress you, and we WILL be 3-1 after that game.
  16. If they did have to hold off on the opening of the stadium, why don't they just move some of the home games to the U of I.
  17. :finger You and your mild winters Yea, if only we had mild winters here... I'm gonna have to put away the mini skirt pretty soon!
  18. ISU's gonna kick the Eastern Illinois Panthers' collective ass!!! 3-1 after this game.
  19. Well, Steff...I'll be working that day, so I can't go. But let me know if you're going to Henry's birthday party this Friday at the Bullpen Sports Bar. If so, then we can hook up there.
  20. Oh yea? Then how do you explain my 7-1 pbp record??? Drunken luck??? Naw...the woman just gets it done!!!
  21. I think this is the time where Jerry Manuel must decide to go with the 4-man rotation. Danny Wright clearly doesn't cut it as a starter, showing that he's a much better long reliever than anything. There's nobody else whom I'd like to experiment with at this point of the season. We can't be allowing ourselves to get into tough situations down the stretch just because we stay with the 5-man rotation. So, you pitch Loaiza, Garland, and Colon in Minnesota, completing the 4-man rotation with Buehrle on Friday at home against Kansas City. This is the best way to go down the stretch, IMHO.
  22. I don't agree. I think that the head to head play within the division has been more competitive than others, contributing to the leaders having poorer W-L records than the other divisions. Not really. The Tigers have been owned by the Royals and Twins. The Royals have also owned Cleveland. The Royals would be a .500 team if they were in the east or west. The Twins would be a .500 team if they didn't play the Tigers. The Sox are the only one of the top 3 who haven't feasted on the bad teams in this division, instead they have beaten up on the good teams in the Central. What is the Sox record against the Twins and KC? The Sox are 9-7 against the Twins and 7-5 against the Royals.
  23. Oh yea? Then how do you explain my 7-1 pbp record???
