Glad for your dad to have some excitement... However, you need to get him converted to the southside. My dad has come to a few Sox games with me and has rooted for the Sox just because I'm a Sox fan; he just likes the Cubs more. For the record...My dad's high school graduation year happened to be the year of the infamous choke Cubs, 1969...He was very down in a summer of which he should have been in jubilation over.

But this is all ok, for once...My Dad just called me 10 minutes ago...He's a life-long Cubs fan, and is excited over this...Listening to the passion in his voice...I just can't bring myself to root against that passion of his, since I'm a caring daughter...He's 53 and has been through a lot in his life (experience wise, that is; not related to anything bad)...I'm happy for my dad.

It's up to the comish as to when he can play. Fleury can't even practice with the team while on his suspension. Fleury shouldn't be with the team until December at the earliest, I'm thinking.

While Loaiza was there for us all season long, Wright didn't even help us out from Day One! If it weren't for the paucity existing at the #5 in the rotation, we might have actually not been in a "neck and neck" race with the Twins. Blame it on our #5 spot before blaming it on Loaiza!!!

If he was a "fluke," then why is it that only roughly FIVE of his starts all season long weren't "quality starts?" ELo's kept us in games, giving us a chance to win. He's been nothing short of stunning for us, and it would be a travesty if he weren't given the Cy Young award! You're acting like a pitcher must be on his game every god damn start! Well, let me tell you something, Sherlock!!! Everyone has bad days at work of which they are just "out of it!" Even CEO's of companies do! ELo didn't have many of such "bad days" at work, so he DESERVES props! Dog Wright before you dog Loaiza!

Hopefully Carlos Lee will be back next season...I really see him as one of the keys to a successful next season...With that said, it sucks that this team, a team that looked like a World Series contender nearly from top to bottom, wasn't able to amount to s*** when all was said and done. This season was lost due mainly to "stooping down" to the level of lower competition (i.e. Tampa and Detroit). All I have to say now is...Let's go Blackhawks, Bears, Bulls, and Redbirds!!!

Ya know, the Sox NEED some more pitching, and I was hearing that the Cubs were looking to deal Sean Estes, so we could get a mutual agreement here!!!

This Calder/Arnason/Radulov top line is quite interesting.

We have nationally ranked ISU too! I've been to some VERY exciting games here at ISU. Namely, the double overtime victory over Eastern in 2000. We were down by 15 going into the fourth quarter, tied it, and won it in double overtime 44-41! Our conference, the Gateway, has some very good football played within it. For the record, I'm rooting all the way for Northern to be successful this season! In fact, I root for ISU, as well as Northern, Western, Eastern, Southern, Bradley, UIC, Chicago State, Depaul, and Northwestern when they aren't playing ISU.

Jason or anyone else in the know, How can I get rid of my ability to view certain posters' avatars or signatures? I'm getting sick of having to scroll through huge pornographic representations in order to get to stuff worth seeing?

We're 3-1 right now...Hardly sucking! And to those who are thinking that the only REAL football is played at the D1-A level are completely wrong! You guys REALLY need to keep it real... And there are OTHER schools in the state of IL that matter other than the "precious" school in Chambana!!!
