  1. Was in it last year and not demonstrating his best work yet
  2. Has to be the deepest Sox class in a long, long time...although their past 3 drafts really have been a great sight
  3. What a game from Flores
  4. Not even 22 Really starting to get needed attention
  5. Have a feeling Fisher may move to 1B
  6. ChiSoxJon replied to Heads22's topic in FutureSox Board
That's a Big12 college senior facing kids out of HS however

Good too see Adams really handle AAA this well Parke with a solid start too, legitimate SP prospect to me
  8. Good start from Battenfield and 66 up, 6 down for Tyler Johnson with 4 Ks That lineup is truly unfair AND they're getting Madrigal What a game for Gonzalez, Sheets, and Adolfo...Lot of future Sox in that lineup
  9. Nice start from Harrington, figured he was a relief prospect but maybe there's something there
  10. Very solid start from Flores, these secondary starters that get overshadowed by Kopech, Hansen, Dunning, and Cease (Stephens, Lambert, Henzman, Parke, McClure, Battenfield) are awesome to have
  11. Hopefully Kopech can continue this Would like to see what Robbins can offer at the ML level Time to call Viera up, in his last 19 he has 1.50 ERA, 11 Ks, 1 BB in 12 IP
  12. Have a feeling Shields stays and retires here Maybe Soria can get a little value but Avilan and Cedeno net next to nothing I think the bottom 4 all stay Prepared for a boring deadline
  13. Hansen still has ace potential but the addition of Madrigal and success of Cease and Dunning contribute to his "fall" Jake Burger is a first rounder from a year ago so people will likely have him high but a 2x torn Achilles isn't helping him
  14. Have some nice 'pen pieces on the cusp with Fry, Hamilton, Burr, Burdi, Bummer, Fulmer, Ruiz, Viera, Johnson
  15. Have a feeling Henzman will be starting to open up '19...this is to save IP
  16. Ian Hamilton should be up real soon, another nice inning
  17. Pilkington, Stiever, Martin, Carranza, Bilous is gonna be a fun rotation in either KAN or WS next year
  18. Mulholland and Fehmel two pitchers from Oregon State to monitor next year
  19. Absolutely puzzled Blaine Knight went as low as he did, i think he has ace potential https://d1baseball.com/player/uYqgW3M4/blaine-knight/ Sox took Pilkington 6 picks ahead of him so lets hope it pans out
  20. Nearly July and Kopech is wildly inconsistent in AAA while Eloy is knocking on the door
  21. Always interesting to see who was hyped after being picked and what they've done in reality and vise versa; who wasn't hyped and has brokethrough from the CWS draft classes 16: Top 200 MLB Pipeline (6): #14 Collins, #41 Burdi, #62 Hansen, #75 Fisher, #104 Curbelo, #187 Hamilton HSers: R6) Curbelo Notables in Top 10 Rounds: R3) Call, R5) Lambert, R7) Flores, R10) Remillard Notable Later Round: R12) Roman, R13) Hickman, R15) Elliot, R19) Villa, R20) Foster, R22) Booker, R27) Morrison Other Notables Ranked: #8 Rutherford, #59 Dunning, #79 Puckett, #148 Harrington 17: Top 200 MLB Pipeline (7): #16 Burger, #48 Skoug, #60 Sheets, #97 Johnson, #106 Gonzalez, #162 Henzman, #189 Kincannon HSers: R8) Abbott Notables in Top 10 Rounds: R6) McClure, R9) Dedelow, R10) Olson Notable Later Round: R12) Yurchak, R13) Blackman, R14) Destino, R15) Frost, R17) Battenfield, R18) Kiel, R21) Parke, R28) Rivera, R31) Rigler 18: Top 200 MLB Pipeline (7): #3 Madrigal, #30 Walker, #60 Pilkington, #88 Stiever, #153 Martin, #166 Carranza, #193 Bilous HSers: R4) Delgado, R7) Weaver, R11) Maldonado, R19) Ortiz Notables in Top 10 Rounds: R6) Heuer, R8) Perez, R10) Sousa Notable Later Round: R15) Shilling, R21) Johnson, R23) Ramsey, R27) Dawkins, R28) Sowers, R30) Coffey If this displays anything it shows that CWS typically draft 6-8 guys in the MLB Top 200, uncharacteristically went HS heavy this year, and have no shortage of homegrown talent in the system
  22. Our old buddy NIcky Basto is off to a hot start for the Nats' team in HIgh A, org. filler at this point, although amazed he is still 24 http://www.milb.com/player/index.jsp?player_id=621007#/career/R/hitting/2018/ALL May none of the HSers we just picked end up like Basto
  23. That would be major...Not really a TOR guy like many in our system but definitely has starter potential, 3-4 type
  24. Mulholland a name to monitor next year while Abel a name to monitor in '20, both filth
  25. Curbelo I guess...Rutherford was extremely underwhelming both with and prior to KAN
