Danny f***ing Dufffy is throwing a no-hitter through 4. No wonder caulfield is so excited.
Perfect game

After giving up those first two hits, Miggy has actually looked pretty good.
Same thing he did against them the last outing. If he gives up a run in the 6th this is kinda scary

Where does Sands rank as worst 5 hitter ever for us? Mark Kotsay was a better option.
He hit clean up last week lol

Chris Sale is back to pitching Sunday vs. KC. Robin said yesterday it was a fluid situation.
Thank you. Would have been stupid to not pitch Sale against the Royals
I would be very disappointed if we traded Anderson. We never can produce hitters out of our system and I would like to actually have one succeed in the MLB with the White Sox

It's still not an easy call.
DFAing Rollins when the White Sox are still technically in first place?
It doesn't make sense to not have Saladino as the back-up because of his positional versatility. Then you have the fact that Rollins hits LHPers extremely well, but the DH situation is another issue altogether.
Maybe you have Rollins/Avi DH and designate Sands?
I guess that's the likeliest scenario.
We have 3 guys on the bench right now so Anderson could replace a pitcher. Saladino needs to start practicing the OF

Anderson 1-2 so far
Davidson with a double, hitting .265 now
Ranaudo 3 hitless innings with 3 Ks

Well Ventura is really trying to shake up the combinations to find something that works.
Seems like he just wanted Eaton to get a day off.. Of course he takes Rollins out of the 2 hole when we face a LHP and not RHP. Hopefully they can get going after seeing Duffy last week

Noah not coming back is good news. He's done.
And yes, it was still worth leaving Ames to come to Chicago.
It's not losing Noah but that free agents aren't going to want to play for this front office even more then before and some of the other players are going to want out.
