  1. I never got to see any of that 30 page thread, if somebody would enlighten me here or by pm I would appreciate that too.
  2. First round analysis in hockey, baseball talk, hoop playoff previews, Masters golf roundup, mud wrestling talk, curling, bowling, belching contest highlights, or whatever comes up. E-mail [email protected] Dan Blackburn comes back on Friday, I'll try to rook him into guesting. (Dan is the backup goalie for the New York Rangers) not a real big celebrity, but the best I can do.

    I did call that

I was cheering for Detroit, just for cwsox's sake, but I repeat that I made this prediction on the air last week. Anyone who listened can testify that I said upset of the first round=Anaheim Mighty Ducks, the eeeerrry part was that I said Detroit would very like ly lose the first two games and not recover, like last year, citing the differences between Anaheim and Vancouver as why. Though I didn't want to say I told ya so till now, and part of me thought that Detroit was capable of winning 4 straight even after losing the first three, I'm claiming my due credit now. Thank you all and tune into Fridays show, more blind genious.
  4. I'm thankful to not have seen Billy Botch tonight, that's what I'll leave it at.
  5. How the hell did you read the Calgary Sun? You are way too left wing for that paper, my Goodness.
  6. No way I already won the thread of the year! Well put, but I don't think they are at quite as much risk as has been made out.
  7. The person who brought up the 11-1 Indians last year made a good point. The Royals aren't there yet but better than we all expected no doubt.
  8. For one of the rare moments, I actually did laugh out loud when reading on my computer, thanks for that Kenny.
  9. Botch hasn't touched 100 this year, what science are you smokin?
  10. Yes anonther Billy Botch thread.
  11. Thanks for the pbp offer I'll need it.
  12. Frank has 12 too whoop de doo. Choi has 11 ks la ti da, he has 5rbi he can takes some walks blah. He had 7 walks last year, I have 5 fingers on each hand.
  13. I wonder how U.S. Cellular feels about all the publicity the park is getting. Bad press is still press after all, but they sponsor hooligan field.
  14. upsell? upsell? Is that Canadian for something? You screwy Americans don't even know what a toque is. Learn what winter wear is all aboot. Tuque or toque A stocking cap is something you put on your head to rob a bank, a toque is a hat for the winter.
  15. His stats show 5 but I don't know how they measure it?
  16. By the way did they announce Gamboa's name? Did people cheer him on at least before the game, the fans that do have class.
  17. I'll look for a link but his era in 4 app is 12+.
  18. Sorry you guys but that terror alert thing is friggin retarded.
  19. We have to give him more time, he makes 5.5 million dollars a year or sonmething like that. I'm just sick of the he wants the ball so he's good story, he may want the ball but a lot of the other hitters in the league want him to have it to. He is an effective closer on a team with good defense and late inning offense to bail him out.(Oakland fine example us not so much). I cheer like hell when he goes in and gets 3 outs don't get me wrong, but when he gets blasted for 4 runs per bad outing I will not have people piss in my ear and tell me it's raining!
  20. You can pay people to be on call, if you aren't sure what the walk up will be. When I was there on opening day I don't remember more security than the other games. There may have been more on but the presence wasn't noticeable, they may have sent a lot home? I was able to get an elevator pass and wander through every section of the park. Club section or otherwise didn't get asked once for a ticket. Nor did I see a beer vendor I.D. anyone. The booths maybe but not the guys in the seats, it is very easy to drink under age there. I found it to be an incredibly friendly park though, the ticket people the security I stopped and talked to, the other fans that I talked to(I'm not shy in that situation). That is the park they need to upsell, not a bunch of drunken idiots from 8 miles away comming for a cheap game drink fest.
  21. The Safeway section here in Calgary for their football games has a family huddle section which=no booze and no smoking, also the cheapest tickets in the stadium. That would work in the Cell with minimal effort. On the s*** side for an example, the guy at the Flames game I was at, who was naked that jumped on the ice knocked himself out and delayed a 3-3 tied game in the 3rd period for 20 minutes, got a 2000 fine. That's it, $2000, I wanted him charged with mischief, public drunkinness, tresspassing and idecent exposure, and anything else there is for that situation. Everyone cheered for him and booed the cops it was pathetic, it was a tied game for christ sakes! I have a feeling that however you limit beer sales, people will find a way. Buying sober people's punch cards, ect. I hope they try something though, there is no glory in being a f***ing knob!
  22. I take s*** whose opinion I could care more for than Miiereghfsdz, but if you don't this this is being whispered by a lot of others you are mistaken. Why Cub fans are idiots at the Cell beats me, the game against Detroit the Cub fan grabbed that live ball, as he was being escorted out he was chanting Sosa Sosa Sosa, keep idiot Cub fans out of our park! In all seriousness something does need to be done.
  23. Though I didn't mention Foulke in my post, I suppose I will now since that's being pushed. Foulke is better than Koch. No closer is immune to Blown saves, nobody claimed that. But Koch and his dead straight fastballs, have shown that he succeptible(moreso than other pitchers we have and have had) to blown saves. He has been like that since he came to the league, because he hasn't got movement.
  24. Drinking alone in your own closit with the lights out is best. :finger
