  1. You're also assuming no major FA signings. 2019 is not out of the question (for a .500 or better season) if we make some major signings this offseason.
  2. While I'm against moving Moncada/Anderson from their current positions, there's pretty much no downside to letting them learn CF as a backup position like we apparently are doing with Yolmer. I think both of them would be able to field adequately out there.
  3. I hope Ryan Burr and Jose Ruiz take the open bullpen spots in AAA. They are due for promotions
  4. deGrom, Syndergaard, Archer
  5. I'd also be hesitant to deal with Preller again since he may be hiding medical info or something like last time
  6. Rodon and TA for Urias, Quantrill, ++? That way the middle infield situation would be clear... I don't think I'd do that if I were either team though. But if Tatis and Gore are untouchable, I don't know how it would work.
  7. Yeah I'm not worried about this. No way we trade him unless we're blown away. And with his injury history, I doubt such a package will be offered
  8. I completely agree which is why I'd rather hold on to Fry and bank on him continuing his performance.
  9. Are you trying to say that Kimbrel is worse than those guys?
  10. I think Palka may be the one to go down rather than Delmonico. But could go either way of course. Alternatively, Davidson could go down or be DFA'd/traded, letting Delmonico stay on as a 1B/DH/LF. We'd still have capable third basemen in Sanchez and Leury.
  11. Not to mention lefties are hitting .089 against him for a .289 OPS. He's way better than the numbers suggest IMO. His ERA is also heavily inflated by instances where he allows a cheap hit or a walk, and then gets pulled for Rondon/Minaya to allow a ton of runs. If he stays healthy (relatively substantial if), I think we found a damn good reliever
  12. Carlos Santana caught for awhile though
  13. Best case, I can see a .330/.365/.475 kind of line from him. Don't think he'll walk too much nor will he have many homers. .840 OPS with those figures. Hard for me to envision it in the .900s given the lack of power
  14. Honestly just removing Engel and Thompson from the equation makes that number significantly higher, I'm sure
  15. A picture of him on a bus with the caption "5 hours" and a "shhh" emoji. However it may be the team bus ride or something. It's the emoji that intrigued me
  16. Maybe we'll see multiple moves. Eloy posted a somewhat intriguing instagram story
  17. Jace Fry, however, is not total garbage
  18. Minaya is total garbage
  19. Exactly. He's a fine player but he's being asked to do way more than what he's capable of. He should be playing no more than 4 times per week and never hitting any better than 7th in the order.
  20. So tired of Yolmer batting 2nd
  21. All Delmonico does is hit bombs
  22. All Palka does is hit bombs
  23. Gotta love a bee delay followed by an injured umpire delay
