  1. Carroll has been Quintana'd today.
  2. Beltran solo HR. 4-2 NYY.
  3. Sanchez is better than I thought
  4. What has Hawk said about Beckham?
  5. He had a 32% K rate in the Majors this year (181 PA). He just needs to work on that, but he does have incredible pitch recognition skills. Future All-Star? I don't think so, but I do think he will be a decent starter in the future.
  6. I didn't know the Orioles played home games in Chicago.
  7. O'Day's delivery is so annoying
  8. Where the hell did Putnam even come from? He's been great this season
  9. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 20, 2014 -> 03:39 PM) Next, future "franchise star" Carlos Quentin never was the same after that self-inflicted hamate injury in 2008. He went from MVP to a near non-tender candidate and marginal trade return. Sure, because hitting 71 homers with 220 RBIs after the injury (09-11 w/ Sox) isn't good.
  10. No Beckham!!! SoxTalk rejoices
  11. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Aug 20, 2014 -> 02:28 PM) NO YES
  12. Sox hitters vs Chen- Konerko 4-7 Viciedo 2-6 Ramirez 2-7 L. Garcia 1-3 A. Garcia 0-3 Dunn 0-6 De Aza 0-2 Beckham 1-7, so expect him to be batting 2nd.
  13. The streaky Hector Noesi will take his 7-7 record and 4.35 ERA (both with the Sox) to face Baltimore's high powered offense. The Orioles will send out left hander Wei-Yin Chen. Chen is 12-4 with a 3.76 ERA.
  14. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 20, 2014 -> 01:08 PM) Michael Cuddyer Melky Cabrera Nelson Cruz Rajai Davis Nick Markakis Colby Rasmus Alex Rios Denard Span Sure, but bolded are right handed hitters. Sadly, the best LH power options for 2015 are Wilkins, Dunn, Rasmus, Alvarez (Pirates growing tired of him), or some switch hitter like Melky.
  15. I've said this before and I'll say it again- who specifically do you all want when you ask for a lefty bat to replace Dunn? There just aren't many LH power hitters on the market.
  16. Stone on Cruz "He's just so strong." Hm, I wonder why?
  17. What happened to The Magic Glasses?
  18. I saw a rumor of Adam Dunn to Seattle for Lucas Luetge (spelling). Sorry if that's already been posted.
  19. That's where you use Putnam's fresh, unused arm. Down 1 w/ 2 on/2 out. Now this game is over
  20. Cruz takes the AL HR lead
  21. I swear, if we get screwed over on another home plate call...
