Jose Abreu

Jordan Lynch seems like a good guy

Scherzer/Sale 2 IP/2 IP 21 P/ 24 P 0 Baserunners/ 0 Baserunners As expected, a pitcher's duel. 2 innings in 24 minutes.

QUOTE (Baron @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 07:31 PM) He adjusts to the adjustments made by pitchers It seems like whenever there's a slider low and away, he's whiffing. I don't think he's adjusted to that particular pitch and location.

The wind really carried that, Dunn just missed it

QUOTE (Chris Sale @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 07:29 PM) Scherzer is listening to the scouting report. Everything to Abreu was low, either under the strike zone or off the plate. I don't get how Jose's hitting .268 when there's a perfect blueprint on how to get him to strike out.

QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 07:28 PM) I don't think so It seems like after he brought the ball behind him, it was on the tip of his glove.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 07:26 PM) Good play by Beckham but why did he lob the ball to 1st? That was a close play I think he misjudged Martinez's speed, or just overestimated the time he had.

Abreu nearly dropped the throw from Beckham. Good inning.

QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 07:24 PM) No. Any link? http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2094588...mes-cramps-game

Did you guys see Torii Hunter's interview @ The Cell that went viral?

Beautiful play! By both Alexei and Abreu!

How was Lynch's 1st pitch? Perfect strike?

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 07:20 PM) He did. Oops, you're right. But, it was the fourteenth pitch of the ballgame, technically. (wasn't trying to be smart, just thought it was 2nd pitch @ 1st comment)

Scherzer on pace for a 54-pitch CG

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 07:18 PM) I HATE when Eaton swings at the 1st pitch of the ball game.. He didn't

QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 07:08 PM) Took a quick nap. Let's go! QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 07:08 PM) Took a quick crap. Let's go! lol

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 06:08 PM) What makes you think Tuiasosopo will hit over .264? And have a cannon for an arm? You are insane if you think he will bring more to the table.. I think he can hit. Remember all those games last year where he played LF against us for Detroit? He was about average at defense and hit .244 with 7 home runs and 30 runs batted in in 81 games.

Sierra had that one home run and one laser beam to second base, but that's all. He's hitting .264 for us and .184 overall, but I think Tuiasosopo should get a chance.

He is a cousin of Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, perpetrator of the Manti Te'o girlfriend hoax.

So those of you who want Sale to pitch in SF may have gotten your wish.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 01:31 PM) Please don't get rained out.. It will ruin the rotation and Sale probably won't pitch on the 18th QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 05:08 PM) Skip Rienzo. Keep Sale on whatever schedule he's on. Dan Hayes ‏@DanHayesCSN 1m Danks tomorrow, Sale for Thursday and Rienzo skipped in this series. Quintana-Noesi-Rienzo for KC. #WhiteSox rotation update.

Chicago White Sox ‏@whitesox 10s Tonight’s game between the #WhiteSox & #Tigers has been postponed due to a forecast of rain throughout the evening: http://atmlb.com/1xFw4da

Too bad Cleveland will win too.
