QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 29, 2016 -> 05:11 PM) The best option might actually be Burdi, and you just shudder at the consequences if he comes up and pulls a Brad Lidge. Hopefully they're smart enough to avoid that. Anderson has held his own, so far, at least. I'm not expecting burdi until mid August and that may be generous.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 29, 2016 -> 04:50 PM) Not without Petricka AND Putnam. There's nobody to cover the 7th. Albers is terrible now. Jennings and Duke are fine for now from the LH side, but RH relief is a mess up to Jones/Robertson. May need two relievers. And roll the dice with the rotation.

I just don't see how the sox can get a legit bat and reliever with this farm system.

Zack Collins agrees to deal with White Sox

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 29, 2016 -> 01:37 AM) Yep, it better be Schwarber/Bryant-like results to merit a 10th pick in the first round without having a position...he needs to be Evan Gattis+, not Joe Mauer (since the position change). On MLBN draft day, they were asked if Schwarber comp was fair and one of the guys said no way. Collins has a glove at least. Forget which one analyst it was. Either callis or mayo. -
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 28, 2016 -> 11:24 PM) I hope you got a lot more back than Bradley, Jr., and Pederson. That would make our starting rotation: Rodon Shields Gonzalez Turner/Beck/Danish Fulmer/Adams/J.Stephens Alex Hansen Oh I did. Moncada, Benintendi from Boston for Q. Dodgers I also got Lee and De Leon. You can only do three player deals. I would've gotten even more if I could do more than 3 in a return. My rotation is ass for now and my pen as well because I added Nate and Robertson into those deals. Still can trade Abreu, Frazier, and Melky if I so chose. I'm also playing last years game so the prospects aren't updated fully. At least I'll be able to have a solid offense now lol.

Tim Anderson and Sale every 5th day has me watching. I love watching Q also but he gets next to no run support. -
QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jun 28, 2016 -> 11:10 PM) Nobody is this organization has done anything to keep their jobs. Whether it be management, coaching, player development, or scouting, this club is behind in almost every category. Agreed. I just realize the whole thing won't be blown up. Sure was fun on MLB the show lol. Traded sale and quintana and now have an outfield of Jackie Bradley Jr, Joc Pederson and Adam Eaton. This'll be good lol

Could totally be fine with firing Ventura after this lol. Something to wake the team up. Grasping at straws at this point. -

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 28, 2016 -> 09:58 PM) As opposed to trading for Jay Bruce, Arodys Vizcaino or other unnamed veteran RH reliever and Jeremy Hellickson??? That's the ONLY thing that will turn this around. But Reinsdorf will never go for it, not after the Shields move has backfired like it has. I'm not in favor of trading Sale/Q/Eaton....but I also don't have ANY faith that JR is going to trade Fulmer and invest another $12-15 million into the 2016 Chicago White Sox. Do you honestly believe he's going to authorize that, after last year at the deadline when we stood pat with a team flying along with quite a bit of momentum? I have no confidence in this owner. I want a new owner so this team has a direction. Shut out at home by the Twins. Woof -

Can't wait to see the failure of year 3 considering this FA class sucks and our minor league leaves little to be desired. -

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 28, 2016 -> 09:32 PM) What happened? Out of the game? Precautionary? Hurt his wrist on a swing back in like the 5th or so. Stayed in for a little longer then was just taken out.
