The Rays are a team I'd watch for sure in regards to SP. Odorizzi could be interesting. I do wonder about ATL and Teahren. I've liked him ever since he came to the bigs. Wouldn't be a ton of pressure on him here because we have two great starters. Rodon seems to coming along slowly. It'd allow us to move Latos to the 5 spot.

That was a big win. Picked up another game back on Cleveland. Didn't get swept. That's one of my goals for this team is to not be swept all season. I was doom and gloom all night Saturday and yesterday but that win got some of my optimism back because Rodon pitched well again and then pen was air tight. Now we have a huge 4 game series with Cleveland.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I see a guy who is super athletic and just needs the reps at SS. He's getting them at AAA. He may never be elite but he has the tools to be above average. He needs development and it's good to see him doing so. I think we all knew, or at least I knew, he'd struggle to start AAA. Now he's caught fire and swinging great. Haven't checked his BB% and K% rate lately. I look later after work. I also haven't saw anyone posts saying, "well Anderson committed his third error in two games." What's his error total?

Draft will be 2 weeks from Thursday. Is there a legit possibility that Ray falls to 10? Would be a cool story if he did.

Feel more confident in him at least keeping the team within striking distance and doesn't put quite so much pressure on the bullpen in the 2nd game. Obviously critical to win that first game with the White Sox having struggled so much in their last 11. In some ways, we got a reprieve, because the Indians lost 2/3 against both the Twins and Red Sox, but that got cancelled out by going 4-0 against the Reds and igniting their offense with 43 RS to zip up the AL offensive ranks. At the worst, a split and starting Sale on Tuesday seems a good way to, at the very least, hold our ground in the standings and contain the bleeding.
