I've always been fine with trading for CarGo but not for anything significant now. He's only on a 2 year deal. But he will decline and already is. I've put my fandom of CarGo aside.

If they add Cespedes I'll be there for opening weekend in Chicago when they open at home.

I still think we need a RHP starter. If we sign Cespedes, who is worth a shot? I know we aren't in on a guy like Gallardo. What's left out there? I predicted Fister awhile ago.

If they sign Cespedes, I'll be flying from South Carolina to Chicago to see this team. As for Desmond, I'm good either way. It won't be a huge deal but would cost a pick.

Maybe he'll get less years but his AAV should be in line with Upton.

For Detroit, it'll come down to can guys like Cabrera and Martinez stay healthy? How will their rotation and pen perform. Bullpen has been their Achilles heel for awhile now. They've made some additions.

MLB.com Tigers beat saying they went for Upton because of age and overall game is different. Gotta give them credit, when they go all in they're all in.

Detroit is absolutely up there but gotta play the games.
