With the new team and new year I like the energy here on the boards, we have some new posters who are contributing, just wanted to say keep it up!
I've been looking for a great sox board. Glad I found this. It's a nice board.

Maybe two or three guys in history ever busted the guts out of a ball. It must be an omen.

Actually, Soxtalk unofficial rules dictate if a game is won, the thread starter keeps starting the new gamethread until the streak is broken. So, hopefully you start many more game threads
Gotcha. Well hope the streak continues
I'm starting this again since we won last night lol.

Jose Abreu is the real deal, but I think we all knew that already.
And Salazar is just absolutely nasty. But he's prone to throwing some bad pitches.
If you told me before the game he would strike out ten, I wouldn't of watched.

On the bright side - Garcia will be greatly pained by having to be sidelined. When he comes back you best damn well know that he will be working on his routes and will no longer belly flop into the grass with his shoulder.
Yes hopefully he learns from this and works hard to get back.

If his arm doesn't loosen up and his velocity stays where it's at this might be what he is. Obviously he wouldn't be living up to his contract but it's also not the worst thing in the world as he's still a valuable pitcher.
Valuable to us ya. Just give us quality outings
