Rutherford is playing at the same level as recently drafted advanced college hitters and holding his own. K rate only 18.1% against an 8.2% bb. Not a lot of power, that's what's holding back his OPS. He also plays a premium defensive position really well with the tools to get better. He's a great get, and getting him outside of the Q/Sale/Eaton deals is a massive coup.

They packaged assets with glaring red flags and took back an expiring contract, in return they got a 20 year old outfielder that has literally all the tools. This is quality over quantity.

Getting Florial would just make it a silly deal. Stupid good. I'm ecstatic with these three, well really just Rutherford, whoever the fourth guy is he's just icing.

Clippard is a FA after the season, really doesn't matter.

Clippard will help the tanking effort tremendously.

Basabe is barely top 30. The crazy part is that Burger and Collins barely make it into the top 15 (!). Sox are loaded.

Hahn went and got a lefty.

Rutherford is a top 50 at least, perhaps even top 25 prospect.

Rutherford will headline the deal. Huge get, way beyond the type of player I thought they could be adding without dealing Rodon. If they can add Florial/Adujar/Mateo that would make it even better. Sox have quite the nest of OF prospects

They're trading with the Yankees, and just kinda cucked the Red Sox.

Rutherford alone is almost worth it. Add Mateo and I'm ecstatic.

It is almost guaranteed that the White Sox will have the best farm system since at least the Cubs a few years ago, if not better.

Now the Red Sox counter-offer with Devers and BAM were all very happy.

If they get Torres we freak out.

Hated rivals competing for a division is like best case scenario.

Rutherford. Or maybe even Torres, perhaps Cashman doesn't like the injury risk. All three combined brings something very serious back.

He's been scuffling as of late and is facing Kershaw. All we really have to go on is Bruce Levine, who knows nothing.

If the Yankees offer something better Hahn is obliged to take it.
