MLB.com Customer Support
i cancelled my radio account before last season, but only because my credit card had expired. my best suggestion -- somebody send a collective e-mail to Brooks Boyer. Tell him how pissed off loyal paying customers are. Send another note to the commissioner's office. outline how bad the customer service is. mlb knows this is the future pot of gold. maybe it will help. can't hurt.

Where KW is going with this team
With all the things Ozzie is saying about Anderson and the limited number of at bats he has gotten even while Erstad has struggled, I have my doubts they really believe he is the CF of the future. So if he isn't, who is? Don't see one in our system. We'll have to go get one -- and don't say Ichiro for CF. To me, the best hope is to keep trying to develop pitchers. So far it appears KW has done a nice job of making over the bullpen. The guys at Birmingham -- Gio, Egbert, Honel, Day -- are off to solid starts. If a couple of them come through and we get something out of either Broadway or McCullough, that's a start. I'm more concerned about the outfield. I figure Dye is gone. they're down on BA. Erstad is running out of fuel. Pods has no future. Looks like we need to rebuild the entire outfield to me -- and we have little proof that Sweeney will produce legit AL power numbers.

IS BA trade bait
Is he on the team or with the Birmingham Barons?

Boone Logan: Mr. March? + Bullpen thoughts
I've got zero faith in Sisco. Seen too much of his gas-can act in the KC bullpen, often against us. CAn't throw strikes -- so he walks people or gets behind in the count and throws meatballs. Send him to triple A, figure out what is wrong and see if it's fixable. he's worth being a project, but he ain't ready to help right now.

Freddy Garcia Thread
it's news to people who still care about the 05 sox. and it makes the trade for Floyd and Gio look better.

Freddy Garcia Thread
more signs of the wear and tear on pitchers. Garcia threw nothing but meatballs tonight, giving up five hits and three runs in one inning for the Phillies. ERA for the spring is now 11.42.. It appears we should be thankful to have Gavin Floyd. Here is the link: http://philadelphia.phillies.mlb.com/news/...sp&c_id=phi

April Games
Do what I do: Carry around a copy of the Sun Times sports section from the 2003 playoffs with a picture of one Steve Bartman reaching for a foul ball. Carry around another with a shot of the White Sox World Series parade. shuts them up real quick.

Who is this Adam Russell?
i thought I read in the chicago papers that Russell would start the season in the rotation at Birmingham. charlotte will have phillips, perhaps Gio, the loser of Danks/Floyd, and two others.

Dotel dealing. could be a weapon for the Royals until his elbow falls off

Nick Masset
never been excited about Sisco. If you've watched him pitch against the Sox for the Royals, why would you think he could come in and throw strikes or get important outs? He's a project. I like Thornton and Logan as our two lefties, with Jenks, Mac, Masset and Haeger from the right side. Plus, if we're going with two left starters, there's less need for three lefty relievers, in my opinion. The opposing lineups will include fewer lefties on the days Buehrle and Danks start.

3/16/06 Sox Vs Cubs 3:05 CT
if anybody is taking bets, BA is either going to the minors as some kind of punishment or going to another team in a deal. And if they send him down, be interesting to see if he holds his fire or speaks out and ensures a deal.
