f***ing Pathetic.

No extension!! If you're gonna be an ass about it just let him walk and think you can actually draft worth a damn and f*** that part up. I'd take that over extending him any day of the week

QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Jul 30, 2007 -> 05:28 PM) ESPN 1000 was saying that the Sox are going to negotiate a 2-3 yr extension with Dye now That makes me a saaaaaaaaad Panda
-
I'm hoping he doesnt blow completely, but isnt lights out so I can call him "Ehhhhhh-ren"
-
Okay.....nowwwwwwwww TRADE. Ready? Go.
-
If they dont make a trade after today's game, they're just not going to, and that is just PATHETIC and UNACCEPTABLE.

Listening to a little De-Loused in the Comatorium, soooooooo good. I wish Mars Volta would go back to writing song again. If someone remastered the last two albums and edited out all the jam session, avant garde BS, they would be a 1000x better. I really dont listen to you guys for the static and feedback portions of your songs... I remember hearing that they would prefer to get rid of songs all together and just basically jam all the time including concerts and s***. Lame.

Alex Gonzalez in the starting line-up makes baby jesus cry...

God I can not stand that new Interpol song. When I hear "How are things on the West Coast?" coming through the radio, I know im in for 3 and a half minutes of DULL, mixed with a side of BLAH, topped with a heaping helping of DRROOOOOOOOOONNNEEE sauce. Thats the one downside of only listening to the radio at work, but I'd rather have that then working in silence, I would go totally MAD.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 12, 2007 -> 10:12 PM) I really liked Frogstomp, so I might not like the new stuff, but if I get a chance I'll give it a listen. Yeah they arent very posy-grungy anymore. Click here to sample some audio clips of the newer stuff. I would suggest: "Across the Night" "Tuna in the Brine" "Without You" "The Greatest View" "Straight Lines" "After All These Years" I just found out they post poned the show Daniel Johns has laryngitis, so it's pushed back until November. Damn.

Yeah they're still around and sound NOTHING like they used to. Kick ass rock music with Big orchestral arrangements and s***, pretty awesome stuff. They're starting to get back into the main stream now though, they play them on the radio out here and they were just on Leno the other night... Also they're still huge in Australia. They're like as big as Coldplay is in the US over there...

Going to see Silverchair on Saturday \m/

Sorry, this isn't any fault of you guys, but I hate interviews like that. Where it's just question, really short answer, no follow-ups, on to next question. You don't get to learn too much about the person being interviewed. Obviously you guys take submitted questions from the board, but I'm just sayin'...

Every time I see Gonzalez' name in the line-up I want to punch a puppy in the face. He should be sent down for the fact that he can look both tall and oddly fat at the same time. I dont like that, it disturbs me. Sween-Dawg please....
-
If all of this is true would they put a hold on doing any more tributes? I'm sure they already feel a little strange if they dedicated a 3-hour show to a guy who it turns out may have murdered his family...It's a sticky situation for sure....

Beastly, I think your "shuffle" is broken, it's playing chunks of bands 1. Converge - "No Heroes" (Goooood morning haha) 2. Finch - "Miro" 3. Shadows Fall - "A Fire in Babylon" 4. Alice in Chains - "Sickman" 5. Queens of the Stone Age - "God Is In the Radio" 6. Foo Fighters - "Enough Space" \m/ 7. Coheed and Cambria - "Cuts Marked in the March of Men" 8. Fall Out Boy - "The (After) Life of the Party" 9. Seemless - "Maintain" (Live) 10. The Haunted - "Fire Alive" Over all a pretty heavy shuffle this morning...

QUOTE(Spiff @ Jun 22, 2007 -> 07:20 PM) I think everyone was doing that. Also Rooftops is a Hot Water Music cover you prolly knew that though. Yeah, I like the Alkaline version better though. Most likely because I like them better haha

QUOTE(The Critic @ Jun 22, 2007 -> 05:01 PM) What's this sound like? It seems like an odd choice for a cover. I like it. Daryl is like the BIGGEST Squeeze fan, so it's actually not that odd of a cover. I saw them live a couple months back (f***ING AMAZING BTW) and they covered "There at the Top" as one of their encores. It was great.

I'll just pick the next 10 songs that come on my shuffle as I'm already listening to music right now on shuffle. Queens of the Stone Age - "Suture Up Your Future" Buffalo Springfield - "For What It's Worth" AC/DC - "Hard as a Rock" Head Automatica - "Pulling Muscles(From a Shell)" Jerry Cantrell - "Cold Piece" Citizen Cope - "John Lennon" Alkaline Trio - "Rooftops" \m/ Shadows Fall - "Inspriration on Demand" Thrice - "Of Dust and Nations" Atmosphere - "The Outernet" Wow that's pretty random collection

Saw Horse the Band last night. So freakin good. They bring the heavy and the funny...

QUOTE(jasonxctf @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 06:02 PM) i put 25 votes in on fri, sat and sun. takes all of 10 mins, max. Well I'm glad you have the free time and will to do it. I don't, by choice.
-
QUOTE(jasonxctf @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 01:41 PM) 200,000 votes is nothing. 25 votes per day x 40 days= 1,000 votes. What, there aren't 200 people who could do that??? Yeah cause I have time to sit on the computer and vote 25 times a day, cause I dont work or anything. When was the last time a Sox player was voted as a starter? I know it was Frank but what year? 94? 95?
-
There's no point in voting, the Sox are just never gonna have a starter voted in. When has it even been close? The smallest gap probably averages 200,000 or so from the leading vote getter per position. I'll vote once like I always do, but it's futile. If they couldnt get a starter voted last year, the year after winning a championship when the bandwagon hopping fans vote for the winners, they'll never get one.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 12, 2007 -> 03:39 PM) Bahaha....what in gods name is going on in Irvine (Improv or something??) that is so great or terrible that it is forcing you to enter your terror zone. And more importantly, is it safe to say that your going to make a pitstop in Laguna Beach where you can see the sights of that infamous tv series You nailed it, the Improv is probably the only reason to ever venture to Irvine... It's funny that I insult it but even funnier that you do since you live there haha
