I would go Baldwin at SS, Rojas at 3B against RHP, Vargas at DH against RHP/at 3B against LHP, Slater and Taylor in the OF against LHP, Tauchman and Benintendi in OF against RHP/AB moves to DH against LHP.

I think they will have someone who can cover. Backup C, 2 OFs (Taylor/platoon) and an IF who can play all 4.

They can have someone like Vargas be primary DH and also get IF at bats.

They can 60-day IL Bush and Scholtens when they report to camp this week. So no move necessary.

Roster Resource has Rojas (3B vs RHP) and Slater (OF vs LHP, could give someone in OF a DH day or mostly go Benintendi there) as the platoon with Vargas bouncing between DH and 3B. I kinda like that better as Tauchman isn't bad against LHP. His career and 2024 splits are pretty neutral.

With results I can change my mind for sure. It is encouraging to see some of the hires of though. I've just grown so numb to this team.

My 2 cents: he's a bad GM who is unqualified for the position who wouldn't be placed in this situation to fail if not for the owner. Don't really care to argue since it is what it is at this point until something changes at the very top.

Too soon to throw out “bust” in regards to Zavala. Didn’t have anywhere close to a good season but looks like he’s made adjustments. Lets see how it translates this year.

Feel like Rendon is just the DH then? Until he gets hurt that is (although, Moncada is also highly likely to get hurt himself).
