What’s he supposed to say? I was really hoping to get gtfo of here. I wanted to go to a contender. As I said yesterday, the dude seems to play to the ability around him. Add a couple pitchers and a power bat in the offseason and who knows? Maybe we have a fun season or at least can use him as a trade chip next July. (thanks Ishbia money!)

Oh yeah I missed that. Sorry. I think his salary is low enough where a team would claim him though. Feels like they have enough guys to cover the rest of the innings for them season but I guess they can trying in a few weeks.

We’re not saying to trade. They can still be placed on waivers and claimed. Teams have done that the last couple of years to dump salary.

That doesn’t bother me as much since most pitchers are righty. They still make majority of the starts in the lineup. Just gotta pair with a veteran platoon bat. Or bat lower in lineup against lefties.
