Random, but does anyone else kinda miss the days teams could call up more guys in September?

I don’t even think the 3rd catcher would even play that often when you have 2 guys ahead of him alternating. Thats why I kinda figured Lee would get dealt (since there was interest) and Sabol would serve that role.

This is the purpose. Now they will do it without thinking they need to lose the DH if a catcher gets hurt. But like you said in another post, that only really effects the remainder of that game.

They'll probably do this when rosters expand, right?

I would argue that Cubs only draw so well due to location. Being in the middle of a bunch of bars.

I'm torn. Part of me thinks it would be awesome being in the same division as the Cubs and the other part of me hates it. Edit: it would definitely help out attendance a few extra games a season. And if you are in the same division as Cardinals and Brewers, you see a boost there as well when you play them.

They should definitely travel and play at all the empty stadiums during the 2027 lockout. We'll only have that and MiLB (minus 40-man guys).

I had some friends buy tickets to both games. They made 5x their money.
