  1. Nick Madrigal starts hitting awesome... gets hurt Yoan Moncada starts looking good... gets hurt. Why!?!?!?!
  2. I love how a lot of our prospects come up and have immediate success. Hopefully some of these guys can adjust back to the league when it inevitably happens and be solid every day players. Sheets may be showcasing for a trade.... it's tough when you see the success and then they trade him but it's a great way to pump up his value.
  3. Also does this thread title need updating? Sounds like his rehab assignment is starting this weekend.
  4. Damn it would be so huge to get him back soon and get him into the mix. Sooner we get him back the sooner he hopefully gets his swing back and can give Abreu some actual support.
  5. Burr certainly making a case to get more play in leverage situations. Go get em, kid.
  6. First Glasnow goes down, now Degrom left a game early (prognosis TBD) while having a historic season. This year has been horrible all around the MLB for injuries, did we just add another potential catalyst for injuries into the mix with the ban of sticky stuff? It is sort of crazy how quickly these two went down.
  7. Damn man his development was so exciting to watch. Three players coming into their own missing most of a season. So sad.
  8. Somehow the restaurant I am at just changed the Sox game to the Mets vs. Padres. Wtf?
  9. Sox are the team to beat. That man is disgusting though.
  10. Hey pal, at least the Sox pitching is on par with Cleveland and still has a better offense even without Eloy and Luis. That should play out well over the course of the season. But there will be some series losses and splits that will annoy the crap out of us.
  11. It was a matter of time before the losses of Eloy and Luis were missed this much. Yermin was inevitably going to come back to Earth. Hopefully the pitching can keep rolling and keeping us elite. This may become a Jekyll and Hyde offense for awhile.
  12. Just what we need. The Indians developing another good pitcher. I liked McKenzie better when he couldn't throw strikes.
  13. Let's not get swept.
  14. Coles bitching about pitches off the corner not being called yet we cant get a pitch ON the corner called. The fuck?
  15. Seriously. Our pitching has been really good this year. I'd like to assume that they could just be good pitchers, but if this is such a rampant issue.... and with TLR at the helm... who knows?
  16. Great job Gio and Liam bouncing back.
  17. I think it's far more likely he turns it around. He's a professional, he will figure it out up there and be back to the Spanky we all know and love before too long.
  18. Tony better be gone by the time we need to extend or resign TA.
  19. Yermin pimped that single. HAHAHA
  20. Why bother taking though? It makes no sense at all, and again just doesnt personify the slogan. Isnt it better to let him swing away and hope that he hits it to someone instead of trying to work walks in an 11 run game?
  21. This is a slogan brought on almost entirely because of Tim Anderson's bat flip and the teams rejection of unwritten rules and generally making baseball a more fun event for fans to attract more of them. Right? Or does it mean something else completely? If not, Sox marketing department must be furious with TLR. I'd like to discuss the slogan now and what it means to you, as well as what you think it means to the Sox players, marketing department, upper management, and... TLR.
  22. What the hell is change the game supposed to mean? Respect the opponent? FUCK the opponent. The opponent would GLADLY step on your neck and beat you 16-4 if the tables were turned. If the opponent has a problem with it, play better. Such dumb ass shit from TLR.
